Enter the Dragon (1973)
The Master shows us how it's done.
This movie outshines all other martial arts movies.Bruce Lee shows why He became the legend that He still is today. Not only do the fight scenes amaze but his intense acting ability still impresses me to this day. The studio felt the need to add an American star(John Saxon) to the marquee to help bring in the American audiences, proof that studio execs are clueless, and in spite of this (although Saxon's character was a nice addition and handled well by him) Bruce outshined everyone and everything in this film.If you have never seen this film hang your head in shame then quickly raise it up and redeem yourself by going out and either renting it or buying this work of art by a legend as soon as possible.
The Crow (1994)
The best adaptation of a comic to film!
The only bad thing about this film was the tragic death of Brandon Lee during it's filming. This film stands alone not only for the comic book movie genre but for all movies. The story flows from beginning to end,the acting is flawless from Brandon's portrayal of Eric Draven to Ernie Hudson's portrayal of a semi-lost cop.The supporting cast was outstanding, the consumate bad-guy David Patrick Kelly, who hasn't played that intense a character since The Warriors and the rest of his gang added a believable nastiness to their roles and the movie. This film is not only a must see it is a must own!!!
Army of Darkness (1992)
This film rules plain and simple!
The third part in this trilogy continues to astound and amaze.Campbell's comedic timing is flawless, rattling off his rapid fire insults of the natives and taking command of the situation in the perfect arrogant Ash manner.SEE THIS FILM NOW!!!!!!
The Long Riders (1980)
THE BEST WESTERN EVER!!!
The cast is one of the best and most believable ive ever seen in a western.Walter Hills direction and Ry Cooders music are the perfect compliment to a great script and cast.Trust me this is the best western you will ever see.once youve seen it i know you'll love and need to own it.
