My Life with the Walter Boys (2023)
A great watch if you are looking for a bit of escapism and memories of your teenage year.
Navigating your teenage years with romance is tricky. I loved this series because it reminded me of my youth and family life where I came through it a better person hopefully.
It is not supposed to be rocket science literature so I found it immensely entertaining to go back to those years of growing up.
The love triangle consists of Jackie 15, Alex 15, Cole 17. Both brothers were instantly attracted to her.
The charming character Cole is quite polarising while Alex's is still a 15 year old boy and they have styled him like a young country bumkin which sort of puts him at a disadvantage - hopefully S2 will show him more grown up and being a more viable suitor for Jackie.
XO, Kitty (2023)
S1 Kitty and Min Ho opened the series together and ended the series together at the airport -alluding to a budding romance in S2 perhaps. #cliffhanger
Look there was a lot chaos plot wise and some of the directions it went to, baffled me but I still liked it because I liked the characters a lot. It had a good ending leading into the approved S2 coming up next year. There are 10 episodes at approx. 30mins each which means it a light 5 hours to binge if you would like to.
Dae was Kitty's long distant boyfriend who was a very sweet boy and Min Ho was one of his best friends. They both have feelings for Kitty. S2 will be about their love triangle I think.
Min Ho has a wonderful British accent which I love to listen to - in the beginning he was conceited and full of himself. His character development saw positive changes in his character towards the end of S1.
Joseonroko Nokdujeon (2019)
Was a roller coaster of love with lots of kisses, palace and political intrigue!
What makes this Drama work so sensationally, is the male lead has an elegant and beautiful face, and a way of walking that he could play either a female or male role and in this case both at the same time during a Drama series. The acting in two different gender roles was very well done and hilarious. He pulled off the feminine nuances of a girl and then the Warrior masculinity of a man who is protecting his love, the wonderful Female Lead. Both ML and FL bounced off each other in a very romantic enchanting and funny way, with lots of passionate kisses thrown in.
Not to say that there is not lots of tragedy and politics and palace intrigue to keep you glued to the series. All the supporting actors were wonderful. Gosh I love Asian dramas (Aussie here)
Also special mention the child girl actress -she stole the show and also set up so many funny scenes!.

Real passionate kisses - great story from beginning to end
The lead couple had BIG on screen chemistry. A Delightful Romantic Drama. It was all really hilarious with all the dramatic obstacles put in their way to their true love.
If you are looking for lots of kisses with long passionate make out sessions - this is the romantic drama for you.
I was very satisfied with the happy ending. They were absolutely such an adorable couple. #mesmerising
It was fast paced - I totally recommend it to anyone that is a #Romantic.
I hope you like my review! It is a special drama - there is angst and misunderstandings but not too much so you really enjoyed this drama.
Annarasumanara (2022)
Intense and Magical K-Drama: beautifully dubbed for English speaking people.
I cannot explain in words about this "out of the square" Korean drama and how wonderous this drama is.
The three leads are gifted with very good acting skills. Ji Chang Wook is the main anchor actor who is the Magician.
As an Australian, I am new to Korean Dramas - but became addicted about 18 months ago. I have seen Ji Chang Wook's work in some of the top dramas on Netflix. Every role, he portrays, he is quite brilliant in his diversity and range of delivering his nuanced characters.
I loved the strong and trusting bond between these three people and how they affected each other to change the direction of their lives to what they wanted to, to make them happy in the only life we have.

Beauty Inside - binge watched *blush*
Great romantic comedy series which was very funny, quirky with interesting and unexpected plot twists which kept you on your toes.
Whilst getting caught up with the Main romance - I absolutely loved the Secondary romance the same way. All four leads were #dropdeath gorgeous and hilarious and played their parts seamlessly.
I would recommend anyone looking for many laughs, romance, angst, and to be uttered entertained, then this series is for you to escape for a few hours.
More and more I am becoming addicted to Korean dramas - their beautiful culture is surrounded by family, friends, quirky traditions and so much food - they are absolutely #foodies.
Per lanciarsi dalle stelle (2022)
Love this movie - Anxiety can crippled you - Sole overcame her fears!
My feelings on this are that there was an instant attraction between Sole and Danio when they locked eyes for the first time. He was nursing a broken heart from a breakup, and she was floundering around in a panic attack because of her anxiety issues. During the movie they consoled each other. Their onscreen chemistry was brilliantly portrayed by both actors.
I loved this movie because Sole had good people around her and because of this she overcame lots of her anxiety issues and got to do normal everyday activities.
I hope for 2nd sequel movie to see if Danio follows Sole to Rome where she is residing with her/his friends.
The Craft: Legacy (2020)
I loved bits of this movie and there are bits that did not feel completed the movie
Overall, I really enjoyed watching this movie - however it is very patchy - there were a lot of missing pieces like with the brothers. Why have 3 brothers and give them zero character development showing how they were traumatised by their very strict father who was a warlock unbeknownst to them and wanting to get more power from the witches particularly Lily the most powerful.
It is a great story but cannot be told in a 2 hour movie and that was its failure. However, it could be a great TV series! Lily and Timmy had a great love chemistry that could have been explored more in a series. I cried when Timmy was killed by the warlock for loving Lily.
She's Dating the Gangster (2014)
Destiny - True love meeting and departing #badtiming
Aussie here - first viewing in 2022. Coz trending on #Netflix - I loved this film - Athena the new girl at school comes to the attention of the leader of the Gangsters because she stood up to him (Kenji). Kenji bullies her to be his fake girlfriend to make his previous girlfriend jealous to try and win her back. I think he secretly respected Athena because she stubbornly would not give into him until he made it impossible for her to say NO to her being his girlfriend with the whole jumping off the building thing.
The jealous girls of the school also come after her, bullying and physically hurting Athena. Kenji goes into protective mode because he realizes he has created a dangerous situation for Athena.
Kenji's main goal was to get his previous girlfriend back but he falls in love with his fake girlfriend. There is so so much more to this move than what I have said above. I love this movie!
The Holiday (2006)
Unexpected passion and yearning for another human being. Beautiful hilarious movie.
Cameron Diaz (Amanda) going weak at the knees kissing Jude Law (Graham) within 15 minutes of their unexpected meeting is when the real fun begins... #passion
When Amanda and Graham set eyes on each other it was really like love at first sight - clever writing and acting did make this believable. He was really drunk and she was also but less so. I believed in their instant connection from my first viewing of this movie.
I loved all four lead characters! Perfect casting.
Diaz is very comedic in her movies and she rocks this genre. This is Law's first venture into a love comedy and their on-screen chemistry is very intense.
Iris (Kate Winslet) and Miles (Jack Black) I loved their coupling too. Dramatic actress and big time comedian. It totally worked for me.
Of course, the magic of Eli Wallach and Kate Winslet is something to behold.
For me, first time viewing in Jan 2022. Best decision ever.
Falling Inn Love (2019)
When 2 people accidently collide and then cannot stay away from each other!
I am a romantic and this is one great "rom com" coz there is so much laughter and humour with this movie all the way through with their developing romance.
Both lead actors had a wonderful chemistry together.
I watch regularly on NETFLIX because it always makes me feel good.
Adoration (2013)
THE SQUARE - the construction and the deconstruction love story
I loved this movie so much. It showed the human fragility of people lovingly obsessed with each other. Pining and longing for each other through the years!
It seems to me that both Ian and Tom grew up in this SAFE isolated tightly woven SQUARE with these stunningly beautiful women as their mothers and had to have had crushes on them for sure. The sons knew them to be beautiful on the inside too as they grew up with them and loved them as mother figures from when they were little boys.
Fast forward to18+ years and attractions start to develop as the boys start flirting #hormones within this now dangerous QUARE! The mums admired the boys' beauty but it was Ian and Tom who set out to seduce them ending up with spectacular unexpected reciprocal results. Everyone was scared within the SQUARE when the mums allowed it to continue because they were powerless against their love for Ian and Tom. And then there is the #lust.
A Very Country Christmas (2017)
Lovely romantic movie - I loved - loved it!
I just stumbled upon this on Netflix. What a gem of a find!
The attraction and chemistry between Zane and Jeanette was off the charts for me. Loved both actors as well as the rest of the cast.
Reminds me of Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban - so so different but they made it work.
Excellent movie at anytime of the year.
Home Again (2017)
Alice and Harry - impossible love
#Netflix - Just stumbled on this beautiful romantic film in October 2021. Reece (Alice) is so believable in this role with these three young film makers who are SO drawn to her and her family. It is a very funny film - I laughed out loud during most of the scenes. I wanted Harry and Alice to be together later on but in the end I think their age difference made it impossible for them.
Dancing Queens (2021)
Beautiful story - I loved it totally!
My go to movie when I want to feel good!
The attraction between Dylan and Victor, the main characters was palpable from the first time they set eyes on each other and then danced together #chemistry #eyecontact #handtouching #bodycontact
Victor the ambitious young choreographer has been in a gay relationship for 6 years with a much older man who discovered him at 18 years of age and he feels beholden to him. Dylan comes along and She is a very talented girl dancer masquerading as a Drag Queen and Hijinks follows as they innocently flirt with each other adoringly all through the film. We need to have a sequel to see how their relationship develops or not.
The whole cast is fabulous - I loved all the dancing, all the side relationships in this Drag Queen culture film. This is a keeper of a movie to watch from time to time to cheer you up.
The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones (2013)
2021 First view - Jace and Clary TRUE LOVE - I totally loved this supernatural epic story
Threaded through out all the twists and turns and action is the Shadow Hunter romance between Jace, and Clary who lives as a normal girl before she discovers overnight that her kidnapped mother is a powerful Shadow Hunter and so is she.
Jamie Campbell Bower is Jace. He portrays him as this Rockstar thin gothic hero who moves so gracefully when he is walking or fighting to protect Clary. He is also stunningly attractive to match the beauty of Lily Collins. Perfect Casting!!
Clary (Lily Collins) is a rare beauty - she and Jamie have been brought up in the entertainment world and they both delivered. Their onscreen chemistry was off the charts for me. There kissing scene was sooo passionate and real, possibly because they were dating during filming.
If you are needing a couple of hours of escapism and hot romance this is a must.
I think Jamie - if they ever did a movie on David Bowie - he would fit the bill perfectly,
Endless Love (2014)
I have endless love for this movie - first watch 2021
The lead characters David and Jade had such chemistry.
I loved everything about this movie.
This is my go to movie when I feel down and want a happy ending!
This movie makes me feel wonderful and it will also be so for anyone who takes a chance on watching it.
Chasing Liberty (2004)
This film is so warm and adorable!
Just stumbled upon this on Netflix.
Have watched it a few times over the last week. It will be my go to "feel good and brighten my day movie" for a long while I think.
The actors that portrayed the President's daughter and the young secret service agent assigned to protect her - have such a wonderful onscreen chemistry it is difficult to not going back to watch them together again and again.
I also loved the whole chasing liberty vibe that went along with it.
The Bourne Identity (1988)
Excellent spy thriller - it has it all the suspense and romance of a great story!
I remember seeing this mini-series in1988 based on a 1980 Robert Ludlum book. Very true to the book unlike the Matt Damon big screen movie of 2002 which is a good version too just full on action with no substance. Richard Chamberlain and Jaclyn Smith are sensational together in this TV movie which in its day was considered actioned packed from beginning to end. Today's action films show people doing ridiculous stuff that no human being could possibly do and live or survive. The Bourne Identity (1988) - I loved it then and I have just recently re-visited it again in the last week. I still love it.
