Curveball (2015)
Sincere Portrayal Of Adversity
I want to contradict the other review of this movie. The person was upset because it was listed as a Christian/Family movie, yet depicted drug use and vulgar language.
I felt it was a truthful, raw story about a young boy growing up and facing many challenges along the way.
Life can't always be fantasy, roses and PG. Everybody can probably relate to this movie in some way. Whether you've dealt with the same difficulties or know someone who did; it's a cautionary tale we've all been exposed to.
I believe this is a movie worth viewing, and 2.5 stars is too low. The acting was good, the story interesting, and the ending is going to stick with me for a long, long time.

Getting A Bad Rap For Ambiguous Ending?
I've read the reviews on here, and respect that everyone isn't going to have the same experience when viewing a movie. I think this was a pretty good effort, and quite suspenseful. The supporting cast was supposed to be over the top, a point I believe some may have missed. It keeps you guessing, wondering what each person's motive may be. I have to admit that the ending was frustrating, but you're left to come to your own conclusions. I've watched some pretty awful horror "movies," and I use that term loosely. This one kept me interested all the way through until the end. I still have many unanswered questions. As maddening as that is, I still enjoyed this one.
The Mortuary Collection (2019)
Stephen King Fans Might Sense His Influence
This anthology was so much fun; I didn't want it to end. It reminded me of Tales From The Crypt and Creepshow. I hope to see more from this director in the future.
Bangkok 13 Muang Kon Tai (2016)
Dubbing is Ludicrous
The dubbing took me out of the action. I can't take a movie seriously when they are still using 1970s sound techniques. I wish they'd at least use voice artists who can act. This was a waste of time.
Singsu (2018)
Terrible Dubbing
This could've been a decent film, but I couldn't tell because the absurd dubbing took me out of the movie. They chose the worst voice actors they could find, I guess. If the movie had subtitles, it would've been watchable.
Recovery (2019)
I Waited A Year To Watch This
I waited on a hold list at the library for over a year to borrow this movie. I figured if there were that many people who wanted to see it, it must be good. I lost interest after about 40 minutes into it. It was boring and the acting was pretty poor; what a disappointment.
Reversion (2020)
Pointless
An unwatchable train wreck, had to ffwd it just for background noise. What's with the sound, and the disembodied voices from the phone? Really odd, and not entertaining in the least. This deserves less than 1/4 star, but that wasn't an option.
Jiu Jitsu (2020)
YOU ARE THE RABBIT
The lead actor is as wooden as they get. Nic Cage is probably laughing all the way to the bank, heard he made five mil for this! The villain was a "guy in a rubber suit." If you really enjoy martial arts, however cheesy and staged, then this film is for you😄
Criminal Audition (2019)
I Want To See The Real Reviews For This "Gem"
Did I just watch the same movie as the rest of these reviewers? They ruined a good idea with terrible acting, and the pace is excruciatingly slow. What's.. with.. all.. the.. pausing.. between.. words for dramatic effect? People don't converse that way in reality. How did this get two stars when every review on here is a six or better? Have the real reviews been removed?
The Orchard (2020)
Not As Bad As Everyone Says
I feel like I just figured out the inside joke here. Instead of the big, bad wolf burning down the three little pigs' brick house; the three wolves are inside starting a fire, and the "little pigs" are outside. It wasn't the worst movie I've ever watched. It had a decent plot, maybe it needed better direction. Middle of the road B horror flick, worth a gander.
She Dies Tomorrow (2020)
Wasted A Good Title
I'm writing this as the movie is still playing, that's how unwatchable it is. It seems to go nowhere. I was sitting down to enjoy a good horror flick, but as I said, what a waste of a good title.
Divorce Invitation (2012)
My Second Attempt At A Review
If I could rate this a 0, I would. It was that bad. The "acting" was forced and unnatural, which took me completely out of the movie. I don't know who the lead "actor" is, but he's awful.
