Prisoners (2013)
Almost 3 hours of buildup just to end with a cliffhanger and ZERO payoff.
Well that was a waste of time. I enjoyed the entire movie up until that cliffhanger. Feels like I just watched the season finale of a Netflix series. I honestly don't understand the point of this movie. We go through this entire thing w/ Hugh Jackmans character, empathizing with him long the way and we get ZERO payoff for it. No big moment. That single handedly ruins this movie and I could never recommend this to anyone with that ending or they would hate me lol. All it takes one more scene to wrap things up for the audience. How can anyone rate this above a 5 with that ending? What demographic is this for? People who love to be depressed?
Dead Ringers (1988)
A movie about twins... made for... twins?
Well that was a flaming hot pile of garbage. WHO WAS THIS MOVIE MADE FOR? Never heard of it until recently and I can see why nobody has ever recommended it. It's extremely boring. There isn't a single likable character in it. Nothing makes sense, but not in the awesome David Lynch kind of way. If you're not a twin, I doubt you will have any empathy for the characters or the story. It's nicely filmed and the acting is good, but it's instantly forgettable. I'm only still typing to reach the required character limit.
TLDR: Crappy movie about twins that I guess what made for twins? No clue but skip it and watch something else.
Moment of Contact (2022)
Sources: 3 bored little girls and a mentally unstable old guy.
I was laughing out loud when the old guy kept pointing to the ground crying when they found the "crash site". What a mentally unstable man. Anyway, this is one of the worst documentaries I've ever seen. I have countless stories of my friends and I being really young, making up dumb things and going along with it until we got older. Want to hear some stories? We thought we made it rain one time. Another time we thought we saw a creature in the woods that resembled Uncle Sam. We also thought we saw spirits once and described things the same way and fed off each others lies. It's what kids do. This is the vibe I'm getting here. 3 little girls and a crazy old guy saw a UFO and a sad little alien so it must be true. None of it is believable. "They all drew the same large eyes" LOL it's gotta be real now! This doc is entertaining if you're bored, but really stupid if I'm being honest.
Infinity Pool (2023)
If my dad was a famous director, my movie would have good ratings too...
Ladies and gentlemen this was your typical artsy fartsy pretentious trash film that has literally nothing special to say and goes absolutely nowhere. Oh and here we go again with IMDB and Rotten Tomatoes protecting a films rating when you know just by looking at the majority of reviews that it shouldn't even have a 6/10 on here lol. There's nothing to dissect. The "storyline" is very stupid. I just wish my daddy was famous so critics would praise my work even when its bad. Not sure if these critics are just cronenberg fan girls or they get paid to give out a positive rating but doesnt matter... the film is trash.
Succession: Connor's Wedding (2023)
This has a 9.9 rating? What? How?
I'm actually shocked that this has such a high rating. That's literally the recipe for any 9 star rating on this website when it comes to tv episodes. Someone dies = legendary episode. Literally every show now on here. I'd list more examples but I don't want to spoil other shows for people. Other than the fact that Logan died, it was 40 minutes of 3 actors (the siblings) clearly exhausted from trying to continue crying for the camera. At one point, Kieran Culkin
literally runs out of things to do when he's trying to improvise. It was so dragged out. Aside from the surprise for those who were watching this show week to week, this was just a mediocre hour of tv.
Inland Empire (2006)
5 stars only because I love Lynch, but this film was horrible.
Yikes that one was hard to sit through. I love Mulholland Drive and Lost Highway and I'm obsessed with Twin Peaks, so I know what I'm getting into with David Lynch. With that being said,THIS WAS REALLY BAD. It's too long and it's too confusing. I love being a little confused when I'm watching this kind of movie, but this was just painful. It's also boring which makes it difficult to stay interested. Normally after watching this kind of movie I'd be on youtube listening to people dissect it, but I honestly didn't care enough about this one to even want to solve it. Love Lynch, but this is the worse of his movies that I've seen so far.
Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981)
Overrated.
Either IMDB ratings are completely rigged for certain directors or its users haven't seen that many movies. This movie is just okay, but it's overrated and honestly it's mostly boring! What is so great about 20 minute car chases and corny fight scenes? Maybe it was original a million years ago, but it's nothing special today. Seeing "perfect movie" in the comments is honestly insane to me. People really need to be careful trusting the reviews on this website and just stick to the users that you're familiar with who have similar taste as you. This movie was probably the best movie ever... BACK IN 1981! Lol.
Barbarian (2022)
Most of the high ratings are fake.
Mostly fake reviews. Good first half, but top notch acting couldn't save this one from a mediocre second half. Oh and it suddenly becomes another movie with your typical 2022 message of "all white men are evil". Wasn't surprised by that garbage at all.

Smile (2022)
Steals from "The Ring" and "It Follows", but still manages to suck.
We've seen this movie so many times before. Aside from a couple of really cool/creepy scenes, it's mostly stupid. It's fine for a one-time watch if you're bored though. Definitely a C- rating at best. Anything else is just crazy imo. I prefer "It Follows" which it clearly stole from. It also steals from "The Ring" and even though that's outdated, it's still better than "Smile".
Just typing more here for the required amount of characters.

Watcher (2022)
Rosemary's Tenant
"Watcher" is pretty much a modern paranoia/Polanski film. The negative reviews are a little overdramatic in my opinion. I'm not sure what people were expecting, but it's a fun psychological thriller. It calls back to some great 60's and 70's horror flicks so I enjoyed it.
Westworld: Que Será, Será (2022)
Tessa Thompson can't act.
Wow this show sucks now. I pretty much just keep it on in the background these days. I'm honestly not sure which is worse. The writing after season one or the decision to cast Tessa Thompson. She's so cringe it hurts.
Better Call Saul: Axe and Grind (2022)
Less episodes = better episodes
This is two weeks in a row of straight filler. The D-riding fanboys of the show will 10 star every episode --- but dont be fooled. I said this in my last review. This show has some of the most BORING episodes of television that I've ever seen. And that's coming from a BB and BCS fan. This one wasn't as bad, but it's 95% filler.
Ozark: Pound of Flesh and Still Kickin' (2022)
Great Value Breaking Bad.
Boring episode with an ending that doesn't save it. The writers are trying too hard to make Marty "break bad" and he's just no Walter White. The show was fun for a bit, but I'm over it.
The Conspiracy (2012)
Bohemian Grove: The Movie
A very well made movie for fans of (or believers in) conspiracy theories and found-footage horror. If you like movies like Kill List or The Blair Witch Project, you'll probably enjoy this one. The ending felt a little rushed, but overall I enjoyed it.
X (2022)
The Texas Chainsaw MEH-ssacre.
A decent slasher, but does not deserve a 96% rating on RT. The kills felt conveniently cheap and honestly everything was underwhelming. I was hoping to to feel paranoid or scared, but didn't feel much of anything. Spent most of the movie hoping it would get better or surprise me a little but we've seen this all before.
The Hunt (2020)
Pokes fun at both sides without bias.
Do not take this film seriously or you'll just be exactly the type of person that this movie is making fun of! Just sit back and enjoy the cheesiness of it all. I gave it a 6 because although it was pretty good, it could've been funnier. It's only 90 minutes long and there's a decent amount of gore. What's not to like?
Summer of 84 (2018)
Stranger Things meets Disturbia
It has everything you love about the 80's nostalgia in Stranger Things. Kids riding bikes around suburban America. It also shares the thrills of 2007's Disturbia. Overall it's a good movie, but I wasn't crazy about the final act. I'd say it's worth a one-time watch though.
I See You (2019)
Unexpectedly good!
A unique horror/thriller that will keep you on the edge of your seat until the very end. A gem of an indie flick! Skip the trailer and just jump straight into it!
Hell House LLC (2015)
Perfect for the Halloween season!
Didn't expect much but wow! I enjoyed it! Perfect for the Halloween season and it's genuinely creepy. The sequels are a letdown, but definitely watch this one if you love horror movies -- especially the found-footage genre!
The Fog (1980)
Another overrated "classic"
Crucify me all you want. The Fog is not scary nor interesting. I gave it a 5 for its creepy atmosphere and because I just love 80's horror soundtracks. It's not the worst movie ever, but it's extremely mehhhhhhh.
True Grit (2010)
That's it?
Watching some of these Coen brother flicks 10+ years after their initial release and you'll realize how over-hyped a lot of them are. Is True Grit it a bad movie? Not at all, but it's not that good either. Nothing really interesting going on here and would never sit through it again. To be honest, I wouldn't even recommend it UNLESS you're out of Westerns to watch. I'd say watch it at least once but you're not missing much if you skip it.
I'm Thinking of Ending Things (2020)
You'll be youtubing "movie explained" after this one!
Wow! So much depth! I barely understood it while watching, but I sure did enjoy it! After seeing it I watched some explanations online which made enjoy it even more. It's not for everyone and mileage may vary!
Chinatown (1974)
Didn't do anything for me...
Like every other over-hyped movie, it was probably good for its time. I personally didn't care for it and struggled to stay interested. Mehhh storyline with a lackluster conclusion. It's not bad though, just not enjoyable to me.
No Exit (2022)
Not bad!
Congrats on a decent thriller, Hulu! I was expecting it to be much worse. It felt a little "2000's" but that's partly why I enjoyed it! It does get a little ridiculous at times, but just turn off your brain and enjoy it!
The Blood on Satan's Claw (1971)
Not bad!
Slow start but once it gets going it's pretty good! Wondering if "The Witch" was inspired by this one based on how this film looks and sometimes feels. I will say that the ending felt rushed and a little out of place. Overall, good for fans of folk/horror or classic horror in general.
