What are we doing
16 October 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Halloween is my favorite horror series of all time which means Michael Myers is my favorite horror will or all time. I can't get over the absolute disrespect done to Michael in this film. This is supposed to be the final showdown and ending to the Michael and Lori story, so why does it feel like this fight was not only rushed but did not satisfy me in any way. I like the idea of Corey in this film, the idea that Michael either saw something when he looked in his eyes or even transferred evil into him. I say this because the film tells us nothing about what happened when Michael looked in his eyes, I don't need everything spelled out for me directly but you have to tell what happened in some way. Another aspect the writers just didn't talk about was the idea that Michael was somehow gaining strength from killing people. Cool idea that even Lori was talking about in the previous film, but the Corey just overpowers him and takes his mask. Possibly great ideas where just left out in the open and truly meant nothing in the end. Corey goes on a killing spree where it seems he is able to vanish like Michael and somehow gained the strength like Michael but again how would we know. Then final act starts where the character we have been following the whole movie just kills himself for really no apparent reason other than shock value so his character had no arc and was just another reason to get Michael to Lori's house. Then I'm thinking we are at least going to get this final epic showdown between the two but again you would be wrong as Lori gains the upper hand and cuts his throat, but then Michael grabs Lori and I'm thinking are they really going to finally say that Michael is truly a supernatural being but no just another cheap moment to try and make it more exciting. Michael is then thrown into a nest grinder of some sorts and the film is over. I really love this franchise and Michael Myers so this film just felt like a disservice to me, I think this would have worked as the second film but not the FINAL. As the title suggests this is the final film in this universe with Michael and Lori. Now I will have to patiently wait for this franchise to be resurrected once again to get the sour taste of this film out of my brain.

What a time
6 August 2022
The negative reviews I'm reading for this are laughable and outrageous. The predator franchise has been in shambles ever since the first film came out with the sequels just being okay or really bad. This franchise looked to be dead in the water but instead a new concept was dropped into the predators lap. This film is awesome just for the facts is showcases the predator and let's him do his thing with the tech and best of all the amazing kills. This is one of the best adaptations of the predator because he is still very smart, skilled and his hunting is top notch. Our lead in this film was really well acted and I loved her arc in this film. I can't sY much but the 3rd act is amazing and really puts the nail in the coffin making this a great movie. If ideas like this keep rolling in then this franchise is looking like it might just be back.

Great action flick
22 July 2022
People need to stop going into the types of films and expecting something it's not going to be. I just wanted to see amazing action sequences and great characters. Ryan Gosling and Ana de Armas play our good guys and I love not only both performances but the chemistry the two have together. I think the standout performance here was Chris Evans. It was really cool to see him play a bad guy and he chewed up every scene he was in. Billy Bob Thornton was great in the film and Avik San was awesome as this secondary villain. The story does lack in a little in the interesting side but I think all the beautiful and well done action scenes make up for it. If you go in expecting a movie with interesting characters and awesome action then you will be entertained.

Good for what you expect
20 July 2022
I gave this a positive rating because this movie was exactly what you would expect. I'm not the biggest fan of Dax Shepard or really Michael Peña in a lead role. I have to say I was truly surprised by both these guys because they both really good performances and worked well off each other. I didn't expect this movie to be the best movie of all time but I did expect humor. It's filled with your typical 21st century humor and while some of it doesn't work I would say more of it does that does not. Typical buddy cop story for the most part but being a sucker for this type of action comedy I can't complain. One final note I have to say that Vincent D'Onfrio gave probably my favorite perform through the whole film.

Stop the hate
5 August 2021
Warning: Spoilers
All of these negative reviews are misleading, yes season was 1 was better and it's hard to follow that up but this season is about Dave going through a writers block a sort of depression because the might not say it but he does miss Ally which is the most reason he can't write. This season has been more emotional and doesn't have the same laughs but is just as good.
