Raised by Wolves (2020)
Surprised after seeing other reviews
I have never wrote a review nor have I ever have been driven to until I read other people's reviews. Drum roll..... I love this show. I stumbled across it after watching GOT through twice in a row. I began watching RBW and found myself almost hypnotised and not being able to look away. I have always loved movies with a religious background, no matter good or bad(but do love the ones that help prove it). I found myself trying to intrepert any hidden meanings while following the story. This show has A LOT of potential depending on which way it goes. If they are only trying to make a way out there science fiction story, that would be a sin of itself. If it can continue to take Genesis and give it a "science fictiony" spin, it will be a worldwide hit. After watching the first season through the third time in a row, I continue to find new information that ties from previous episodes. I also see a lot of relationships to Christianity and how this show can be interpreted to the book of Genesis in the Bible. What will make this show a worldwide hit, is for future seasons to slowly bring out those hidden intreptations and links to the Bible and uses the beginning information in season 1 to what they ACTUALLY mean. Also I see the potential how both sides can flip flop from being the good guys and the bad guys later down the road. This show reveals the hidden evil nature that lives within everyone, no matter if everyone has never seen violence, evil is deeply imbedded in human nature. We have Creators, demons, loyal servants, the 7 deadly sins, omnipotent beings with great powers, weak body's holding key knowledge, and a lot of questions that can be answered from the show or from within. This show can always have new subject matter down the line since there are so many books and events in the Bible it can link itself to. Fingers crossed for this show to stay true to its beginnings and to not try and get away from a deep spiritual meaning.
