Pretty Woman (1990)

In 2021 I still like this movie

Not my really genre of movie, but hey I was not fan before but I did see it in TV today and I like it, of course the story is not real and could not happen in the real world, but this not the point. The movie gives you a good feeling,something that is rare this days and just 90' movies did.

So Pretty Woman is a great movie and you watch just the the good feeling without try not to got stuck in the situation millionare and prostitute story not being a real thing.

Tropic Thunder (2008)

Amazing action/comedy movie

At first I was impressed with the effects and stuff and said to myself after 10 min this is it the moment to start to be boring and bad comedy. The movie totally showed me wrong being one of the best this year in my opinion. Robert Downey Jr. was fantastic in his character and I will never manage go behind his cover if not being catch on guard by the trailer. Ben Stiller was a great action director and the music was really good for the scenes i hope i see him doing a real action movie, I think he was great to deliver a satisfying movie. The comedy was good, the actors where great and the adventure and fun was there. Enough said you have to see Tropic Thrunder you will surely like it.

Once Upon a Time (2008)

Classic Adventure Movie

A good adventure movie with good characters and a decent plot containing some unexpected turns but with the usual happy ending. So we have a Seul under Japanese occupation in 1945 and the focus of the movie is on the "Light of The East" a diamond large as a fist. All of them the Korean resistance, the Japanese army and some thieves want the precious "Light of The East" the way they get it will be fun to watch. The resistance is a couple of people who doesn't do anything right, and a thief is giving the police and the army headaches. Entertaining enough with decent story and acting i recommend to the fans of the adventure comedy movies.

The Game Plan (2007)

Nice and cozy family movie

Dwayne Johnson is "The Rock" in this movie being selfish and absolutely absorbed by himself till he find that he is a father. He a very successfully American football player who thinks he rocks and has everything he needs in his life but something will change that dramatically. Madison Pettis plays little Peyton the eight year old daughter of Joe Kingman the football player, she is a cute kid who sparks the movie. A very nice family movie that you should watch, Johnson does his play pretty well i really like him as a actor because he can be funny and action remind me of Arnold somehow. The spice is added by the a school teacher ballerina played by Roselyn Sanchez that lecture Kingman how to be a real father. The movie is about a father that doesn't know that he had a daughter but he doesn't know also that he likes it and can be a very good and loving father. Johnson show that can be emotional when a little drama drops in the movie but well is well when ends with a happy end. I recommend this movie because is entertaining and have a nice feeling about it so if you want to be a away from those bad crimes, horror and action movie this is the perfect escape.

Three Kingdoms (2008)

Very good war movie

I think this movie is about heroes that doesn't get a step back from no enemy. It has his moments where like a metaphor try to show that a courage of one man can make much more to bow to him and be defeated. Zilong is a true hero a idealistic soldier who fight for peace, his village, his lord and a dream of a family in a safe world. Andy Lau does a very good role here in the first part is young and fearless and doesn't seem so wise but when he look much older after 32 years he is just great a general who is like a rock unmovable, undefeated and named The Invicible General.I really like the epic moments when he is facing a army alone and he is going to freely give his life on the battlefield. Samo Hung as Luo Ping-An he plays also good giving life to a character who is invisible to the others and not a hero like Zilong wanting to be much more then the destiny has in mind for him. And not the last Maggie Q is a strong feminine touch to the movie being a great strategist and a good warrior. The overall of the movie is don't miss it if u like war movies with heroes that doesn't fear death you will not be disappointed. The only drawback of the movie is the time much to less to present a truly epic feeling. He doesn't give enough time to all of the characters in the movie with much more potential. If it had like 160 minutes to show you each character as a great personality who fights for honor and strives to reach their goals it will really be a great movie.

Idiocracy (2006)

A very not sharpen up movie

The movie itself has a aura of boredom on him from the start, and the actors was not the best choice. So it begins with a very straight storyline you could guess in a second what will happen all the movie from the start. It really try to pull out a few laughs but despite the efforts he doesn't do a good job at all. The characters are stupid, the idea could be fun but not in that way, the story is told with no turns and twists or something you would say "this is cool". It ends in a happy end style never less a comedy should end that way to keep the good mood. Idiocracy is about a new world dominated all by idiots worse then in the ice age, a ironic future world who wants to point a little from our real problems. My recommendation is you need to be real bored to watch this is not repulsive but is not much fun also.
