Why was a white blue eyed male playing a Mexican
4 March 2024
I find it EXTREMELY unlikely they couldn't find a single handsome legitimate Mexican actor to play the part of Jesse. To make Casper Van Dien (or however you spell his last name) painted up in brown skin was the most atrocious looking character they could have done with the part. Was there absolutely no one else they could have found to play the part? He looked absolutely ridiculous I couldn't get past how horrible of a job the casting director and makeup artist did. Also he didn't even really do a good job acting. I understand it was one of his earlier roles but a man of moral character would've turned the job down. Also when he was speaking Spanish to the other Mexican crew members it was laughable. Terrible all around & 1 star for this casting alone.

Monk: Mr. Monk and the Naked Man (2007)
Season 6, Episode 3
5/10
Trudy helped keep Monk's phobia's at bay
23 November 2023
Warning: Spoilers
I'm writing this in reply to another person who said the Monk's had an "asexual" relationship & to another who questioned whether or not he was intimate with his wife. Maybe you all don't watch the show enough to understand that when Monk & Trudy were married he has OCD tendencies but with the love & compassion his wife showed him helped him to handle most of fears in a healthy manner on daily basis. It's alluded to in other episodes that he use to laugh, joke, shake hands, basically a normal guy. Trudy's death threw him to an extreme depression & caused him to regress immensely! Sharona helped him to get out enough to be a PI & Natalie picks up where Sharona left off & it isn't until he meets Trudy's daughter that he's able to be the man he was with Trudy because (even though she's an adult) he feels like he's a father & has Trudy back, or a part of her. Sorry for the rant but it needed to be said.

The Pretender (1996–2000)

I love reading all the reviews from ppl like me
12 February 2023
Like so many others I was preteen/teen when this show first aired & it was my first real "favorite" tv show. Having all 4 seasons on Prime to watch again brings me back to my childhood & it gives me something to bond with my aunt with. It's an absolutely wonderful show with a great storyline. Something that keeps your interest from one show to the next. I would like a decent final movie to be done. Maybe with Prime bringing it back they're gauging to see if there would be enough interest. The fact it only took them two weeks to add the final two seasons I think goes to show there is still plenty of interest left in the show. Recommend this for everyone!

Poorly written main characters
14 July 2021
Warning: Spoilers
When I watched this show the first time, I LOVED it! It just came on Hulu so I got excited & thought I would rewatch it. I'm at the end of the first season & Idk how I was ever able to watch it, I can't stand most of the characters! The way they act or treat other people is disgusting! ESP Daphne, everyone always does what she wants or she throws a fit, & she says Bay is the one who makes everything about her. Bay really is no better, she vandalizes her dad's car wash & then acts offended when he doesn't like it. It is not ok to tag buildings or walls just because you enjoy doing artwork & think that everyone else should like it too. The way they make it ok is awful. The plot lines are pretty good if you can get past how annoying the characters are but it really makes you cringe if you have a conscience or soul.

Found Mouth's character to be disrespectful and lacking of empathy
12 July 2021
Warning: Spoilers
I understand as viewers we knew who really killed Kieth but at this point in the show the characters were under the assumption Jimmy Edwards murdered Keith. The way Mouth acted towards Lucas felt disrespectful. Expecting him to just remember that he was a friend & not taking into account that it was believed he murdered not just his uncle but the man who raised him & was going to marry his mom along with adopting him. I feel it was a poor stand for the writers to take. In time Lucas could come to those feelings on his own & not have Mouth force his opinion & how he felt he should feel.
