Curiosity Shop (1971)
Quality show from a bygone era
I remember this show and also had the Curiosity Shop lunch box. It was from the good old days when T.V. wasn't only about making money. The major networks served the public interest in those days.
The girl in the show was also on "Lassie" and on the "Brady Bunch" episode where Jan buys the black wig. I think she was an episode of "The Odd Couple" too.
Apple's Way (1974)
Derivative of "The Waltons"
I remember this show too. I was only 8 when it was on, but at the time I enjoyed it. It would probably give me cavities now.
Now I see it was really jumping on the bandwagon started by "The Waltons" two seasons earlier. "Little House on the Prairie" followed the same trend.
One of the episodes I remember involved the father sitting in a tree to protest its removal. Eventually everyone in town came to join him and sing-along as he played his guitar ("Down by the old mill stream...").
I did find the cantankerous grandfather with a heart of gold a little annoying. And I never really adjusted to the actress change for one of the daughters.
Make a Wish (1971)
My father liked this show
It was a little too abstract for me since I was only 5 or 6 at the time. But my father liked the "Fly High" song referred to in another comment. He frequently used to quote the phrase "if you want it, you can get it...but to get it, you've got to want it".
Sleepers (1996)
Intense plot
I thought the way the main characters plotted their revenge was interesting to watch as it unfolded.
I watched this late at night and, to my surprise, the chilling story line literally gave me nightmares.
