Gossip Girl: Carrnal Knowledge (2009)
Why did everyone hate on J & V?
Dan is the most annoying and hypocritical character in gossip girl hands down. It's like he always has the worse and most random storylines to keep his boring character relevant...and Serena deserved a better love interest. I'm not sure if it's just Penn's stale monotone acting which works in "You" cuz he plays a sociopath but in gossip girl it gives Dan sociopath vibes when he's not meant to be lol
Euphoria: Trouble Don't Last Always (2020)
A deep dive into Rue's mind
Although Rue is the narrator throughout the series we learned a lot more from her perspective on things in this episode. It seems they're using the "unreliable narrator" thing more serious. We found out Rue and Jules did not actually get tattoos for example, and we also learned that Rue feels that Jules cheated on her! It seems Rue genuinely felt her and Jules was in a relationship even though they clearly were not, so it was interesting to learn that. In summary, this episode is so important for Rue's development moving into the second season, and Zendaya and Colman acting was phenomenal.
We Are Who We Are: Right Here Right Now VI (2020)
It's not good at all
It's like the directors and writers are trying really hard to be unique but it comes out bad. I am sorry but this series is just not as good as people want to pretend it is. It's extremely slow paced, there's really not cohesive story. You can not connect to any of the characters emotionally. Why? Well because the writers/directors chose to basically tell the "story" through random camera stills for long periods of times.
Lovecraft Country: Full Circle (2020)
What are these reviews...
It is sad that this show keeps getting bombarded with a lot of hateful reviews.. and I wonder why? Hmmm this finale was AMAZING the story, visuals, acting, directing, and characters were amazing. I fell in love with every character by the ending. I loved every moment of the finale and feel it is being picked apart by people who refuse to give this show a chance, and I believe it is obvious why.
The Vampire Diaries: Bring It On (2013)
Why the Elena hate?
I'm not sure if the fans have warped their view of the series, but I remember Damon, who can basically control what Elena does, convinced her to switch her humanity off. He honestly tainted Elena's morals once she became a vampire and left Stefan she became more selfish, and I am not saying this is a bad thing because at some point a person needs to start putting themselves first for the better. I just don't get how someone can complain about Elena grieving over her brother dying? That is the last of her family, they have all died. How would you react?
Lovecraft Country: Jig-a-Bobo (2020)
So good!
They have spent episodes building up all the characters to add more depth to them, and now it's time for the series to go all out! This episode was amazing it had all the elements... spooky, magic, and monsters!!
Lovecraft Country: I Am. (2020)
Amazing
This episode was like a love letter to black women. I feel it came out during a perfect time considering what is going on in the world, and what Megan Thee Stallion is going through. The most disrespected person in America is truly the black woman.
I don't really have any complaints toward the episode. However, I was expecting the show to progress a bit more I was hoping to see Leti and Ruby talk more and Leti find out Ruby knows about magic now. I'm looking forward to the last 3 episodes, I hope they're good!
The 100: Etherea (2020)
Idk what to think...
I've loved moments of this season, but this is the LAST SEASON. We only have 5 episodes left and they've decided to make Bellamy crazy, how is there going to be time for a proper redemption after this? They spent a whole season on Octavia redemption after bloodreina which worked out well. I'm honestly so sad and nervous about how the show is going to come to a end. We have not gotten nearly enough screen time of the most of the main characters (Clarke, Bellamy, Octavia, and Raven) I feel we've gotten a lot of Murphy this season which is we some but Clarke and Bellamy has barely gotten any decent screen time this season. It started off amazing in episode 1 with Clarke's badass speech and she was the full on leader but we haven't gotten to have moments like that since.... :( I'm getting worried the ending is going to be too rushed and lackluster I hope I'm wrong though.
