Nothing to See Here (2023– )

A little gem
20 November 2023
The story is about a young blind man and his best friend into their journey, to independance.

No one but themselves (barely) believes in them.

This show reminded me that, other people too have problems. It's something we often forget or tend not to think about. But we all do.

And this show delivered that message splendendly. While making me laugh too here and there.

Btw, Charly definttely stole the show!

Amazing cast too. I'd have loved to have more episodes and have the show spend more time on other characters.

They pretty much all deserved to get an episode on them. Also, I felt like that the show tried a lot of things with very little at their disposal.

With so many characters and only 8ep of 25min.. But they managed well. I guess they did because i'm hungry for more.

I hope that this show gets renewed for a second season!

A really good time...

Okay so, I have seen the poor rating of the show and the mixed reviews.

I'll give you my honest opinion about the show. If you're undecided about whether you should watch this or not, please read this.

King the Land is one of those shows that don't take itself seriously. And for it's genre, i'd say that it's pretty good.

You see Cool and beautiful locations, good looking actors, it can be funny at times. Everything is made to make you have a "Feels good" moment. And it works. If you're in the right mood for it.

For me, TV Shows are like food. It's actually like food in a lot of ways, we consume them.

And most of the times, sure, i'd go for some high quality steak but sometimes, i'd rather go eat some junk food.

This show is for when you want to watch something more chill, cute, light. If you're in that mood, you'll likely have a good time.

If you try to take this show too seriously and compare it to other giants.. Well, it wont do as well.

About the actors, I think that they're all pretty good, down to the minor characters.

So all in all, a really good show.

Dear Edward (2023)

A pretty good start
4 February 2023
After watching the 3st episodes, I can tell you that this show, so far,is pretty good.

I like what they did, without going into too much details to avoid any spoilers, they pretty much wanted us (the viewers) to be interested/focused on the plot. But then, brought really interesting characters and then skillfully shifted the focus of the show to another in a really chirurgical way. Beautifully done.

As i'm sure you've read the synopsis, it starts by you being focused on the whole crash/incident and then will have you focus on the aftermath and especially onto these characters.

And I think they did this transition really well.

I can't put my fingers on what exactly I was expecting going into this show, but it wasn't this, and i've suprinsingly really been enjoying those 3 episodes.

So if you're looking the reviews to decide on whether you should give this show a shot or not, the answer is yes.

And if you don't like it, it's fine.

Lovely show

Warning: Spoilers
Here's my first review on the website, although i check everybody's reviews quite often when i'm about to watch or already watched something.

Also english isn't my first language so you'll have to excuse me for that :)

So far i've seen 5 episodes and i've got to say, it's been really nice. Im your average 27y man and, I had a mood for a romance thing.

Apparently the original material for this is a book, obviously i didn't read it but, without doing the comparison between the two, i can say that, if you're in the mood for it,you'll appreciate this series.

I just so happen to like fantastic things and, when 2 genres blends well together, it's even better.

For me, this isn't a fantastic story, it's a romance first. A bit like "The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button" If you're in a mood for a show like this and can't decide if you wanna give this a shot or not, i'll recommend you to try one episode at least.

Spoilers below:

Now, there's one thing i'm curious about, and i don't expect anyone to answer me but, there's one thing i can quite get.

I dont get how the "current" henry, would fall in love with the current Clare. He just knows she's her future wife, but because of it, the relationship feels forced.

I get how clare would feel something about him, but for him.. It's different. Maybe because he just trust the many versions of himself he has met.

This is just something i wondered about, and isn't a critic.
