Chinatown (1974)
Noir Style
With a fabulous script by Robert Townsend and superb directing by Polanski this is a classic detective story. Capturing Los Angeles in a time period like no other. It's a rather disturbing storyline if you think about it. It defiantly has the early noir style of this type of film genre. This movie is a must for any film aficionado.
Kolchak: The Night Stalker (1974)
Chi-town of Monsters
The single most intriguing, amazing, interesting, intense televisual experience anyone could ever hope for in 1974. It was such a cool blend of fantasy and mystery that I couldn't help but stay tuned. Each episode stood alone unlike most serial dramas at that time. Who would have thought that Chicago was such a Monster town?
The Boys (2019)
Hardcore Body Glooping
That absolute direction I wish DC and Marvel would take. The special effects are amazing along with the blending of practical effects. Just breaking down the effect is a master class in itself. The blend of harsh language and comedy (or just Butchers accent) is effectively use and wonderful story telling. A fantastic show if you are old enough to watch it.
Yôjinbô (1961)
A Must See
If you didn't know, this film was ripped off from a famous Spaghetti Western. A unique story that life can be a flip of a coin (or stick). Kuraswa at the top of his game.
The Batman (2022)
Darker Adaptation of the Caped Crusader
When I say Darker, man it is dark as in I can't see anything. Aside from that well done and I look forward to more. This version is longer at drawing out the characters and can be enjoyable for people who like longer stories and don't need Items shoved in their faces to follow the story. Well done.
Moon Knight (2022)
Who What Where...WHY
Wonderful adaptation that is worth a watch if you are a fan of other Marvel Movies. A well shot and edited production. A fun romp in the Marvel universe.
The Same Conversation (2017)
Fun Short Film That Shows Style
Well written with a nice twist. The Same Conversation does have two different meanings when you really sit down to listen to them and from who and how they say it. I'd like to see more from from these filmmakers just to see their style progress. #CreamPieIsSoLowClass but sooooo Gooooooood
