The foundation for meme culture and Generation Z comedy
10 July 2020
For what this show is (a simple comedic cartoon), it achieves basic perfection in its goal for the first few seasons. At 22 years old, I still rewatch scenes and episodes and laugh out loud. Some episodes can be analyzed for deeper meaning, themes, and a message to be said. But that's not really the point of the show. It's meant to tell a self contained story in each episode in a satisfying manner, and it does so. Characters do change from episode to episode, and it is the moments that we see sides of their characters that we did not expect that we begin to appreciate the care and attention given by the creators.

This show has definite attention to detail behind it, and is very self aware of it's non-realism, flaunting it as another arm of its comedy. Unforgettable, and I know that it has affected our senses of humor in ways that we do not even perceive. Memes would not be exactly the same without the comedic foundation this show has given to people.

A "kid show" like no other, love it as an adult
10 July 2020
This series is short, and worth watching. Fantastic for kids. It is unique when compared to other kid shows, because it is an ongoing story from episode to episode. The payoff at the end is fantastic, and the show only improves from season to season. Great storytelling, worldbuilding, action/choreography, and comedy.

If you are an adult, you will likely view much of the first season of the show as quite kid oriented. This show grows into some very adult themes in seasons 2 and 3, while still being the innocence of a cartoon for kids. The story is unique, and has definitely effected the way I view the world, be it in international politics, media brainwashing, the struggle of individuality vs. responsibility, and the struggle of recognizing self restraint as strength rather than weakness. Such a strong show that has stood the test of time and will continue to do so.

Addictive and satisfying mystery, with some unclear details
10 July 2020
Mystery is the best word to describe what this series is. Tremendous debates and discussions can come from this show. It causes you to ask crazy questions about what is going on, and sometimes those questions are answered clearly. Sometimes, less clearly... many details are not exactly explained in large detail.

Regardless, this show has a cast of characters and actors that pull it off. It's unique, suspenseful, and you fin yourself needing to know how the series ends. Be careful though, not everybody exactly agrees about what it is exactly that happens at the end of this show... some would call this show a confusing mystery. They're not necessarily wrong, but it holds up in entertainment value.

Trainwreck? More like shipwreck (at least it's funny)

Accidental watch in search of The Meg. But man... I don't regret watching this whole movie. Most people give it a 1 or 2. I give it a 5 because it still had me crying in tears of laughter at certain parts. So terribly written, but in the best way possible. To me, this is the kind of bad movie you can't help but enjoy.

It starts off more on the boring side, but man, by the end of this movie, you can't help but be on the edge of your seat wondering how it can possibly conclude. I'm here to tell you, that it goes out with a bang. A terribly written, unrealistic, and hilariously memorable bang. Maybe it's just me, but this movie made me laugh more than most intentional comedies do. Whether it is technical flaws, or extremely major plot points that absolutely collapse in idiocy, this movie went from boring to quite memorable. What a great terrible movie.

My favorite story of all time
10 July 2020
This show is not perfect, but it has some of everything, including a cast of characters that you consistently latch onto, and feel for. It has complex drama, action, comedy, and "horror." This show is not just about the zombies, it is about tremendous characters. This show takes the viewer down a road of moral debates and principles of leadership, all in the midst of high emotions, action, and unmatched storytelling. It's addictive.

It has its technical errors now and again, and seasons 7 and 8 struggle the most, but season 9 comes back impressively, and the first 6 seasons, I personally view, as an absolute masterpiece of storytelling.
