It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia: Frank's Pretty Woman (2011)
The gang's decent into insanity
What a great way to start the season. We see the characters at the lowest points of their lives, and there's no stopping. We see throwbacks, after throwbacks until the climactic ending.
We see the gang literally just drag and leave a dead body out in the hallway, without a care in the world. And it's only the beginning.
It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia: The Gang Dances Their Asses Off (2007)
A creative and spectacular season finale!
A light-hearted way to end the season, sort of like a roll-call to shout out all the characters including the waitress and cricket.
Nothing really special and groundbreaking here, just an enjoyable and hilarious episode!
Season 3 is arguably the best season of the whole series, but I think there are too many duds and inconsistencies to take that crown. The great episodes are truly great though.
Overall S3 rating: 8/10
It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia: Dennis Looks Like a Registered Sex Offender (2007)
The gang is on a roll, another great episode
My goodness the later half of season 3 is pure greatness. This is another great episode, and again it's entirely because of the subplots.
I love the family dinner scene, I couldn't stop laughing the whole time. We truly see how close Frank and Charlie got after becoming roommates, and Charlie was genuinely really upset that he left. Not to mention Mac having the best intentions in the world just trying to me his father happy, only to ruin his life. Amazing.

The shows first perfect episode, 10/10
This episode embodies everything I love about the show and it's characters.
The introduction of lawyer Charlie is my favorite part about the episode because he gets so wrapped up in his character that it's really funny and charming.
If there's an episode that I have to use to introduce someone to this show, I think it would be this one.
It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia: Sweet Dee's Dating a Retarded Person (2007)
CLASSIC EPISODE!
DAYMAN! FIGHTER OF THE NIGHTMAN!
Might as well be called "The Gang Starts a Band" because that's exactly what made the episode so great. The Lil' Kev plot line was alright, but it was Charlie and his artistic mind that stole the show.
Charlie high on spray paint and coming up with the song 'DAYMAN' with Dennis is arguably the most iconic scene in the history of the series.
This episode is a classic, and is definitely Top 10 all time.
It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia: Dennis and Dee Get a New Dad (2006)
Frank Reynolds decent into darkness and weirdness.
As I am rewatching the whole series, when Frank is told that Dennis and Dee are not actually his biological children and he passes out from a stroke, that was the moment when he descents into the character we later see through the show.
He becomes more chaotic and manipulative to those around him.
That cliffhanger in the end. Is Frank Charlie's biological father? It's heavily implied and actually makes a lot of sense when you see the strong chemistry both characters have.
Season 2 had some dull moments, but it starts and ends pretty strong. It's still one of the best in the entire series as it marks the start of the gang's glory days.
S2 Overall Rating: 7.5/10
It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia: The Gang Runs for Office (2006)
"I leave power. GOOD."
Dennis trying to ad lib Charlie's political speech is one of my all-time favorite moments in the whole series.
Great, light-hearted episode. Personal favorite of mines.
It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia: The Gang Finds a Dead Guy (2005)
First classic episode of the series!
Mac and Charlie discovering the Nazi uniform/memorabilia. When they tried to sell it to the museum, I couldn't stop laughing.
Dee and her phobia of old people was also great.
We also see Dennis and the introduction of his sociopathic tendencies towards women.
Great Episode, I think this is where the show finally kicks it up a notch with the craziness and black humor.
It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia: Charlie Wants an Abortion (2005)
Very Arrested Development-esque!
The scene where Dennis is literally straddling the fence is pure genius!
