Day Shift (2022)
It wasn't the worst thing I've seen...
Dayshift wasn't terrible, but the story was rushed, leaving you feeling like you blinked to long and missed something. Like a mad chef in the kitchen, the studio hacked up the plot, threw it in a pot, added in a few well known celebrity, drizzled on some flashy action sequences and hoped it would turn itself into a good movie.
The Tax Collector (2020)
What just happened?
This is the worst movie David Ayer has written and directed. It felt more like I was watching some bizarre horror flick, than a crime drama. Was David Ayer trying to bring to life his most morbid fantasies!?
The dialogue on top of that was awful, just left me feeling more confused. The whole flow of the movie was a mess, especially toward the end.
David Ayer has some hits out there, but this one is a big miss. My advice to people who may read this, don't waste your time. It's just not good.
Sweetheart (2019)
What happened to Zack?
Anybody else wondering what happened to Zack, especially after Lucas's cryptic sentence "you are starting to sound like Zach". What happened to Zack?!- all the blood in the raft and on the knife. You have this side story with no conclusion. I want closure people!
Artemis Fowl (2020)
The work was already done for you...
The story was all written out for you, this day in age it really shouldn't be that difficult to take a fantasy story such as this and adapt it to the big screen. So many creative libraries were taken with this story, you are basically telling a different story. Might as well have changed the title too.
