American Dad!: For Whom the Sleigh Bell Tolls (2010)
One of the best Christmas episodes ever
If your sick and tired of the traditional Christmas episodes of regular television shows then this show is for you. This one is definitely for teenagers or adults. You don't want kids that believe in Santa watching this one. Without giving to much away, the Smith family has fight with Santa and all of the North Pole. It is hilarious and definitely not your normal Christmas episode where there is moral to story or some stupid Christmas miracle. It is just pure entertainment, no lessons or morals to learn here just sick back watch and enjoy. If you like the first few Futurerama Christmas episodes you should like this one. It has everything in it, Roger being Rogers, and Jeff being an idiot, and last but not Stan being his usual arrogant self.
Godzilla (2014)
You People Make Me Sick
I am sick of all the stupid **it people say about this movie. Why does a movie need a human character to root for? Pull for the monster ***holes. IT IS CALLED GODZILLA. maybe it is the STAR. Why do you have to see Godzilla or action every five minutes for a movie to be good now a days. It is refreshing to see a movie every once in a while tell a story.
On to the movie. I think the movie was refreshing. I am sure you can read the summary here to find out what it is about. It does a wonderful job of building suspense through out slowly telling a story about where Godzilla could have came from and now that he is here, about how human nature is to destroy and try to control everything. Yes it can be slow at times, and yes I can see why people were a little disappointed at the end. If the move does have a flaw I would say it is, in my opinion, They didn't show enough of the fight in the end. Other than that. if you like a movie like Jaws that builds slow to a climactic ending, than don't listen these people here and give Godzilla a try. It is the Godzilla movie I have been waiting for
The Crazies (2010)
This is not a zombie movie.
In order to be zombie you have to be dead. Not infected with a virus, DEAD, DEAD and walking around as if alive, but DEAD. None of the crazies were dead. Until they got killed and unlike zombies they stayed DEAD. I liked the remake more than the original. It was more of what I expected from the original. It had to more of the towns people and less of the military. The acting was far superior in this one as well. The only thing that was really better in the original was the end. Hollywood today would not do an ending like that any more. I would have given a better rating if the end remotely came close to Romero original ending. I have always enjoyed how he ended his old movies.
Grease (1978)
Would anybody really act like any of these people
The problem with musicals is nobody just breakouts in song in dance every five minutes. Especially in groups of people perfectly choreographed and never missing a beat. I mean come on the greasers are suppose to be cool and tough. how could you be tough and cool breaking out into a song and dance number with your friends. It does not work at all sorry can not be cool and tough prancing around the bleachers singing summer lovin'.
Now I know movies are not real, For instance like Transformers. But maybe something like maybe possible in the future. Seems impossible now but fifty years ago so were most things we use now in our everyday life. Musicals will never happen in real life no group of people in public will ever spontaneously break out in song and dance and not be put in a funny farm. Also with out any rehearsal like supposedly in the movies.
