This movie is hard hitting and hits the right notes. It's weak in certain parts but overall delivers the message and is thought provoking. News channels feeds what audience wants even though the consequences can be bad.

Strategy of greedy corporations revealed
13 November 2021
A very well made series. It is quick and griping. It shows us a reality of the big corporations we already know and the extent they can go to maximise their profits at the cost of some upcoming innovators/entrepreneurs. Sadly we will watch this and move on with our lives continuing using their platforms without thinking twice about if this is for the good of mankind or just their intention to make profits.

The ending gets a big thumbs down

A very beautifully shot movie but at time you feel you are watching soft porn. The cast have performed exceptionally well. However, the movie becomes quite unbelievable from the exhibition part. I so wish the ending was not so dramatic and the makers would have been more realistic with their approach.
Mumbai Diaries
(2021– )
Loses the plot midway
14 September 2021
The series starts quite intensely and gives the impression that it is a true story. But very soon you realise it's completely fictional based on a backdrop a true and tragic incident.
The series shows the Mumbai attacks from the perspective of hospital staff. This is definitely a different and interesting approach. All the characters are quite believable and do complete justice to their roles.
It could have been a breathtaking series. However, I sincerely felt the series loses the plot midway with too many things happening at once. It just gets a bit too much to absorb with the plot having a very Bollywood touch.

Good opportunity lost

The movie starts solid and the first half is really entertaining. It has good moments and the lead Surbhi does complete justice to her role as Sonam Gupta. She makes the character believable and is the soul of the movie. Jassi as Sintoo bhaiyya is average. The supporting cast does an amazing job specially both the fathers and Vijay Raaz. This movie could have been so much more, had it not lost the plot and gone on a different track in the second half.

Masterpiece!!!

They don't make movies like this anymore. Remember watching it 15 years ago and having such a strong urge to do something for the country. The star cast was amazing and it showed the bond between the friends in such an emotional manner. Must watch for all generations.

Well made movie!!

It's so sad to know that this movie is based on a true story. I always find it hard to digest when a MNC puts profits ahead of human lives or health. Kudos to the man who decided to stand tall against the atrocities and become a whistle blower.

Pure magic!!!

It's hard to fault anything with this show. It's so well written. All the actors are well casted and make the characters so enjoyable. The relationships in this show are so well portrayed and handled. Do yourself a favour and watch this show.

Overacting all the way
30 December 2020
This story was best suited for the 90's and should have been left alone. Watching this movie automatically put me in the comparison mode with the original where Govinda, Karisma and all the other supporting cast were effortless and supreme in their acting skills. In this movie, all the seasoned and veterans have lowered their skills and just lost the plot. The leading cast are pure disappointment. The movie is far from entertaining and can aptly be called pure torture. Watch it if you have no expectations and plenty of time to kill.

Good concept but lacks emotions
12 December 2020
The movie had the right intentions but unfortunately the actors specially the kids are supposed to be the backbone of this film are too weak in their roles. Apart from mind blowing locations this movie is a huge disappointment as it has nothing new to offer. There are some scenes which are unrealistic and does not make any sense.
Worth a watch

I felt Anupam Kher was the weakest link in this movie. It was very difficult to seperate him from Dr MMS.
Maybe someone less prominent would have suited the role better. Akshay Khanna as usual was quite amazing. I am interested in reading the actual book now.

Loved this movie

The movie is fast paced and entertaining. Patralekha and Divyendu have done a wonderful job. The supporting cast support the main lead very well. I have always admired the work of Patralekha and its a pity we get to see her so rarely. Watch this movie as it wouldn't disappoint.

Hiest movies are always entertaining

The story line is weak and something that I have watched many times in the past. However, hiest movies never fail to entertain and serve the purpose for which they are made - entertainment. Loved all the ladies in the movie.
