Life After the Navigator (2020)
An emotional rollercoaster ride through a movie ive always loved
I loved Life After Flash, Director Lissa Downs earlier film in the same series, so had big expectations for this follow up I wasn't disappointed. This doco is a real deep dive from someone who shows the film and its stars , the respect and care it deserves.
Joey Cramer has had a difficult life and the easiest move would have been to do a car crash 'where are they now' expose , but this is far from what the film goes.
It's beautiful crafted, carefully constructed and clearly has been put together by someone who cares about its legacy.
It's hard to convey unless you've seen it, so my advice is to see it. You won't be disappointed. I am not shamed to say my boyfriend had to pass the tissues at the end of this remarkable story. I cant wait for more in this series.
New Kids on the Blockchain (2020)
One for crypto fans with a sense of humour
There is a real honesty with this documentary. You get what you see. A couple of filmmakers setting out to try and understand what the hell crypto is all about and getting lost in the middle of it.
It's a little rough around the edges ,but that's really part of the charm. The filmmakers clearly had a blast making it, learn some hard lessons along the way and met a lot of crazy people. Love John McAfee's 'bet' story lol. Give it a watch and you may learn something.

A clever film that keeps you guessing with strong female leads (RARE!!!)
This is a really cool little film. Wasn't sure what to expect, but was pleasantly surprised. In the modern age of cinema it's nice to see young females getting a voice, rather than just being used as 'pretty props' or supporting characters. Very rarely you see three young strong female leads with something to say. Hurrah!!!
I hadn't seen the young female actresses's before , so think it must be some of their first work, but they did a great job in bringing these very believable characters to life.
Don't want to give too much away but i really enjoyed this and it didn't go where I expected. Good to see some girl power on the silver screen. :)
