Nothing wrong with this programme. I have a full set of tapes from it (although I will have to look for them). I enjoyed this as it was from a different section of the police that you rarely see on television although most comments I have heard did describe it as awful including comments from Police Officers. I think that it should have went to another series. The characters were comical including Ron Donachie (Freddy Calder) and that wee puppet of his. Think what he has done since that programme. Maybe programmers at BBC should reinstate it but with different characters. Thre is enough drama at the moment on TV regarding Police series.
A Shot at Glory (2000)
Excellent Film
I really enjoyed this film despite it getting some negative publicity from the British Newspapers. I would recommend it to any other football fans.
Ally McCoist was excellent in his role even though this was his debut in films
Late Night Shopping (2001)
Boring
This film was partially filmed in my office at Directory Enquiries last year. They made a big deal of this film being made and said it would be a success when it was released. Now is has been, I would not recommend it to anyone.
I watch a lot of the productions made by Film Four and this was not one of their best.
I could not follow the film at all. You had the DQ operator, the hospital worker and others meeting up during the breaks of their night shift or at the beginning of their shifts.
Although Glasgow is being used a lot more for these type of films, I personally would not recommend it to anyone.
