Great concept and ok acting but everything in the episode just felt rushed. The directing was shaky and boring, all the characters were introduced too fast, but what really let the episode down was that there must've been four episodes worth of story that was spewed out in 20 minutes. There was no time to feel any kind of emotion at any point because before you could process what happened, another scene was already starting. Should've made each episode 40 minutes instead of 20, it would've smoothed out the story much more.

The atmosphere

The atmosphere is truly phenomenal, the music, the colours, the stories, a masterpiece of an episode and the only one better is Treehouse of Horror V, but we all know that's the best one. But still, phenomenal episode, The Raven is one of my favourite TV segments, period.

This is definitely one of the greatest episodes of all time, it's unbelievably underrated and it's disappointing to find that it only has an 8.6!
It's by no means a deep episode, but the comedy stands out amongst most Simpsons episodes. I can't tell you how many times I've quoted "Stop, stop, he's already dead!" There are a bunch of other amazing gags here as well, like when Homer sees everyone as clowns, or when the Mafia guy goes "I'm seeing double here, four Krustys!" This episode is rich with humour.
This episode doesn't get the recognition that it should as a Simpsons classic, which sucks because it truly has some of the best comedy in the show!

Star Wars: Clone Wars Review
The 2003-2005 Star Wars: Clone Wars series is a MASTERPIECE. This show is so clever, so exciting, so brilliant, and so different. I can't tell you how awesome this show is, and each season brings something different. Season 1 masters the art of visual storytelling, and brings some of the best action Star Wars has to offer. Season 2 improves on Season 1 by adding in just a little bit more dialog that helps tell the story a little bit better, and Season 3 improves on running time and character development, despite being the weakest of the three. I just can't explain in words how good this show is and how much I love it, so I won't. Let's dig a bit deeper and review each season separately.
Star Wars: Clone Wars Season 1 Review
So I just finished season 1 of Star Wars: Clone Wars and I am blown away! The animation style is so well done, and really brings out the concept of visual storytelling. In fact, I think this is the show's strongest factor; the visual storytelling. The dialogue is kept to a minimum, and everything happening on screen shows you what's going on perfectly. Every episode brings something new, while continuing a single and simple story.
Which, unfortunately, leads to my only problem with the series, and that is that IT'S TOO SHORT! I wish each episode lasted at least ten minutes so the story wasn't rushed and there was more to watch!
Anyway, overall, Star Wars: Clone Wars is a fantastic example of simple and exciting visual storytelling that is 100% underrated!

Star Wars: Clone Wars Season 2 Review
After being blown away by season 1 of Star Wars: Clone Wars, I had very high expectations for season 2. Did it meet my expectations?
YES.
Season 2 improves on just about every level from season 1! The animation was cleaner, the story was clearer, and it had big stakes! Every episode built upon the story, and made it better. Literally everything that happened was tied into the story. EVERYTHING MATTERED. And I can't describe how awesome that is! Season 2 didn't only meet my expectations, it went above and beyond.
I really don't have a problem with season 2. The only real problem is a few clunky moments with Padmè. Apart from that, I generally think that it is almost flawless in it's own way. I'm serious!
But I can't go by without mentioning chapters 19 and 20. These episodes - 19 especially - were perfect. Spot on perfect. Chapter 19 brought us the most underrated duel in all of Star Wars: Anakin Skywalker vs Asajj Ventress. This duel is so amazing, in every single way. First, the animation and colour pallet is top notch and suits the duel perfectly. Second, this is the best choreographed animated fight I've ever seen. The duel gets more and more intense as it goes on, and I feel every minute of it. Third, from the moment where Anakin and Asajj have that big clash out of nowhere to the moment when Anakin knocks Ventress off the building with all the Jedi feeling it, is so....
....incredible. I'll leave it at that.
And Chapter 20 has an incredibly tense build up to an amazing fight with a perfect cliffhanger! Perfect!!
Star Wars: Clone Wars Season 2 - 9.5/10 Star Wars: Clone Wars Season 3 Review
So I've finally finished Star Wars: Clone Wars Season 3, and to be honest, I'm kind of....
....disappointed.
It's still good, don't get me wrong, but the whole thing was just underwhelming. But let's talk about the positives. Right off the bat, the episodes are much longer and give us a good story, the animation is better, the action is great. But that's really it. It's got some good moments, but it's just not as good as the first two.
Now for the bad. So at first, I was really excited that the episodes were longer, but not even an episode in, I realised that most of each episode was spent on a boring sub-plot, and the action was minimal. Great when it was happening, but there wasn't enough of it. And the season finale spent most of the time on this weird tribal sub-plot, while the real plot with Grievous didn't have enough screen time. I just felt like the whole thing was a bit disappointing.
So, that brings Star Wars: Clone Wars to a close. I'm really glad I discovered this show, it's really fantastic and really underrated.
