Mid90s (2018)
Brilliance doesn't have to come with bright lights and fireworks

Sunny Suljic was incredible. His shyness, his eagerness to please his peers, his almost bashful understated joy at just being noticed. It felt real. The friends he was so desperate to please were a perfect supporting cast. A coming of age film right out of the 90's - Bravo!!

Predictable - But so is a glass of your favourite wine

Great performance by Affleck. Its a sports film, its Basketball... but that's a sub-plot to Afflecks battle with himself and his addiction. Moving, watchable... and predictably, we all end up rooting for the players, the team, the Coach.. and why not!

Samuel L was excellent, it was well acted, it was on mission, the film kind of gripped... then lost that grip with an abrupt ending. Worth the watch though.

A light hearted take on a tragedy... but the message is on point

Little brainwashed boy, future SS soldier and avid fan of Adolf Hitler discovers humanity, humility.. and in his own little ten year old mind... Love. Brilliant film. Instead of focusing on the evils of Nazism... it ridicules the stupidity of it. The idiocy, the mind-numbing ignorance. The subject matter was such that it made it difficult to actually laugh.. But the joke was on them anyway. Great film
