Don't Peep at This Episode
21 February 2020
Warning: Spoilers
This episode has plenty of problems, so I'll go by these one at a time. 1) This episode is a musical, which doesn't at all fit with the spirit of the show. The songs sound decent, but the lyrics and implications of the songs are quite bad. 2) The writers are saying that rubbernecking (the act of being a pervert by staring at other women) is okay even if it gets you into legal trouble. 3) Everyone is so out of character in this episode, especially Stan. Then again, Stan has been becoming a terrible character ever since the hurricane episode, so I am not surprised. 4) Steve's song focuses on him singing about his lust for his mother. Why does Seth MacFarlane have an obsession with incest? That is one of the two universal taboos. 5) The jokes in this episode don't land. They aren't funny. 6) There's quite a bit of filler in this episode between the songs and the dragged out 'jokes.' 7) The B plot is pretty much non-existent.

Overrated Musical/Season Premiere Episode?
9 February 2020
Warning: Spoilers
Considering how highly reviewed this episode is out of the whole series, this is probably going to be a bit of a controversial review. Please keep in mind that this review is 100% my opinion and I am not hating on anyone who has a different opinion from me. With that disclaimer out of the way, people seem to love this episode, but I do not understand why. In this episode, AKA the Season 5 premiere, we see Gene and Courtney (from the episode "The Unbearable Like-Likeness of Gene") fighting with each other via competing musicals. Gene's play is 'Die Hard: The Musical' and Courtney's play is 'Working Girl: The Musical.' Gene came up with the idea first, but Courtney steals Gene's idea and her father manipulates the staff of the school to overshadow Gene by making empty promises. Don't get me wrong. This episode is enjoyable and I really love the ending, but the road leading up to the ending really isn't that exciting because it feels kind of petty and is pretty boring. The ending where Gene and Courtney combine their two plays is very enjoyable and the definite highlight of the episode, it only makes up for SOME of the boring parts of the episode, in my opinion. It's definitely not a bad episode. It wouldn't make a worst episodes list (not by a long shot), but it wouldn't make a best episodes list, either. Overall, it's kind of a boring episode with an enjoyable ending. And I personally feel like the episode might be a tad bit overrated.

Absolute Garbage Episode, but Not the Worst in the Series
31 January 2020
Warning: Spoilers
According to the ratings, people think that this is the worst episode of the entire series. While I agree the episode is absolute garbage and just strokes Seth MacFarlane's self centered ego even more at the end, I don't think it is the absolute worst. I still stand by 'Screams of Silence: the Story of Brenda Q.' is the absolute worst episode of the entire series because it portrays very serious issues extremely poorly. Meanwhile, what does this episode do? Provide 'DVD Commentary' for an episode nobody gives a crap about? Peter and Lois fighting over money and secrets? Seth MacFarlane hijacking the ending and making it a set centered jerk off for himself? Yeah, those are absolutely terrible, but it is not the worst. Definitely within the Top 3 Worst Family Guy episodes, however.

Uncomfortable A-Plot and Boring B-Plot
28 January 2020
This episode is just uncomfortable to watch because of the one off character they added in this episode, Courtney. I know her main character trait is that she is obnoxious, which the writers did get that point across in very vivid detail, but it kind of fails because the audience ends up more annoyed than the characters in the show. It should be the other way around to make the comedy surrounding the awkward relationship work. The side plot with Linda isn't really all that interesting, but this episode does still have a few laughs. Overall, not a terrible episode. Just boring and uncomfortable. It would probably only be #10 in my Top 10 Worst Bob's Burgers Episodes list.
