BoJack Horseman: Fish Out of Water (2016)
Yet to finish the entire show but this episode is already my most favourite!
Just started binge watching this show and honestly this show is all that I expected it to be. I love shows with humour like this show so I am enjoying it!
Also I don't remember writing a review specifically of any particular episode of any show but this is the first time I felt creators deserves to know they have done a great job! Absolutely loved this episode.
This episode made me smile also a bit emotional. I can't really connect to Bojack the character but this time I could feel what Bojack must be feeling. Starting was just like any other Bojack Horseman episode but it just got better with every passing frame.
Can't wait to finish the show now :)
Animal (2023)
Absolutely loved it! If possible watch in theatres. Sandeep Vanga completed his promise!
People really need to understand the character can be problematic and yet the movie can be loved! Also it's high time we as an audience realise that it's not actor/director's responsibility of what audience is deciding to learn from their movies. So yes the Character was problematic but it's just another fictional character and shouldn't be glorified also not crucified.
Now coming to the movie went to first day first show and had high expectations but I am totally satisfied. I am not a film critic I am just a normal guy who loves movies so can't go deep into analysis but here goes my review!
The show was housefull as expected and atmosphere was electric! Even during intermission I could easily hear other talking about how they are loving the movie. The movie is indeed very long and I will agree second part feels stretched but it's not as bad as many people are suggesting.
Songs are good and music is engaging. Watching Marathi song in fighting scene took me by a surprise and whole theatre enjoyed it!
Ranbir have done phenomenal job and he is going to win bunch of awards for this role for sure. Rashmika+Ranbir combo was good but felt the chemistry could have been better. Bobby was criminally under utilised but he was top notch. Shakti Kapoor's role was very useless and couldn't grab any attention at all. Anil Kapoor was brilliant and his emotions could be felt by everyone watching.
A worthy mention is small cameo of Upendra Limaye! He got a huge cheer the moment he arrived on the big screen. He showed his acting calibre in just 5 minutes. I really hope more Marathi actors like him get chance to show their craft in Bollywood.
If possible go to theatres. I also believe it's rating will take a hit once it's released on OTT. People who watched in theatres and those who will watch it on OTT will have different opinions about this movie.
She-Hulk: Attorney at Law: A Normal Amount of Rage (2022)
Except for her orgin I absolutely loved the first episode!
I was expecting better origin story for her the way they showed everything so fast disappointed me. Apart from that I loved everything that was offered. 4th wall breaking was used in limit. Don't listen to negative reviews and atleast watch the first episode before judging the show. I don't understand CGI stuff much but nothing really bothered me. I hope so the show improves with time and we see more Hulk action!
Shark Tank India (2021)
Elitist people are hating this show. Common people are enjoying it!
Just take few seconds and see how every negative review has "Shark Tank USA" in it.
It's quite clear that why those people have issues with this show. They were fortunate to know about the USA version and they want to look cool. Apart from that people have issue with the show being melodramatic.
I don't understand why and "Indian" show needs to be like USA show? We Indians are mostly emotional beings and thus the way (majority of us) interpret things differently. Why we have to be like the show in USA in the first place?
I know the show has flaws but the show not being like it's USA version can't be one. On the contrary I am glad that it's not as it is copy of USA version. I watch the show with my family and even though none of us have any background of business or any interest in it we enjoy the show. Show gets better with each episode and I am sure this show will bring some positive changes in India!
Atrangi Re (2021)
Don't look at the ratings and reviews they are not indicating the truth
I don't know what is wrong with people here. The guys here in reviews are sounding more than so called critics of bollywood movies.
I genuinely enjoyed the movie. The movie was surprisingly very different from what I expected. Loved the songs and overall music too. I believe acting done by respective actors are also quite good. Dhanush was as expected was really good. I was first wondering why they casted Akshay (who is old for such role now imo) but he also did a really good job.
Most reviews here are about Sara and how she is not good. She kinda did over promotion of the movie with all those reels but come on guys she was decent in the movie and did her role well enough. While I agree with the accent part and other missing details but no way this movie deserves such less rating.
The story is far fetched from reality but still better than many bollywood movies with a different story. I was literally in tears at the last scene. I will recommend you to watch once for sure. Even if I went to movie in theaters I wouldn't have got disappointed.
What's absurd is that so many people have rated this movie as 1 star! I don't know what those guys were expecting. And such people are definitely impossible to please. So ignore them and go watch this movie!
Bhavesh Joshi Superhero (2018)
We Indians don't deserve such masterpiece!
I am late to write review but I guess such movies deserve our love and support ! The main issue with us is that we Indians want something new from the movie creators but when ever they try we immediately compare it with our favorite hollywood movie and then come here just to rate it low :) even movie like Krish isn't that bad because atleast they tried something different (even by copying the idea or whatever) even I saw many INTELLECTUAL comments on the trailer of this movie that the hero looks like "sasta Hawkeye"and much more and that too even without watching it.But guys let's rate such movies high then try to watch them in Cinema halls or Ott platforms.Loved this movie
Shakuntala Devi (2020)
It's hard to watch the movie completely and if she is like what they showed in movie it's hard to respect her :)
I heard about the great Shakuntala Devi recently and even watched few videos of her so I was excited about this movie. But the trailer shocked me it wasn't even closer to what I was expecting still I thought it's not good to judge movie without watching it but the movie was also no different from the trailer. The movie was how her (Shakuntala Devi) father was not a good father and so she hated him and same goes with her mother and then her daughter hates her and that's it.There was no mention about the great Indian history related to maths.Vedic Maths wasn't even highlighted. And listen just because your parents aren't like you want that doesn't make them bad and doesn't give you reason to hate them...Just to sell her book she claimed that her ex husband is homosexual? I mean wtf?I know it isn't bad to be homosexual but what she did wasn't acceptable at any cost.Sorry I can't respect such lady...Really disappointed..and no one was interested in her daughter's life and tbh there was nothing inspirational about her.It wasn't biography just a family drama.I didn't liked Vidya mam's acting and other actors also did good job.Amit Sadh in his small role was good.
The Forgotten Army - Azaadi ke liye (2020)
If any Indian series deserves to be highest rated then this is the one!
I was shocked when I saw so many negative reviews.I understand using excess slangs wasn't right choice or showing love story or highlighting the story may not impress many but the amazing music the catchy songs they were awesome! The way episode begins with the historical pics and videos with powerful intro voice of SRK feels so good. The way Kabir Khan showed the beautiful nature and the way his camera works everywhere makes you feel more connected. The actors did a fantastic job everyone tried best and I do feel everyone gave justice to their characters. If you haven't watched this Gem yet go ahead and watch it you won't regret at all! And I think they could have made movie on this topic instead of making series of 5 episodes and release it in cinemas because this topic needs to reach the maximum people.
