Does not deserve to bear the Halloween namesake

Stupid, silly and that terrible jingle that they play incessantly is enough to drive you up a wall. Ridiculous film. Why was this even included under the Halloween namesake? It has nothing to do with Michael Myers. Nothing. Don't waste your time.

I'm sorry but the same old tired story of Erin Strauss and her vendetta against Hotchner and getting in the way of the team doing their jobs is wearing a bit thin to me. Same old story different episode.

Definitely one of my favorite episodes. Small technical issue though is the statement that Felix's death was a suicide. His hands are tied behind his back. How can that be a suicide?

Motive?

Overall this is a good episode except for the life of me I just don't understand the motive behind the first two murders. My husband and I have watched this episode multiple times and we say the same thing each time. What is the motive??? Scott's departure was never really explained. This episode has the usual allotment of local village loonies; which always cracks us up.

The motive is not really believable to me. Unless I am missing something, and I have watched this episode several times, I don't understand how Barnaby figures out who the killer is. There are zero clues that point to the killer's identity.

Why does the murderer murder some people that saw the note but not all? Why was the killer even fearful to begin with? He owned the village so why was he worried? Why do the writers insist on making all of Barnaby's side kicks stupid? Jones was an imbecile in this one. Don't get me wrong. I am a huge Midsomer fan but this episode is just bad.

Great at building suspense

I thought it was a decent movie with a lot of intense scenes. It really built up the suspense. There were times I was on the edge of my seat. Nothing was overdone either.

The movie is so much better than the book. I don't often say that but it is the truth here in my opinion. It is one of my favorite movies of all time for the acting, directing, atmosphere, and cinematography. It is haunting and makes you feel as though you are on the adventure with the trio. This is Spielberg's best movie IMO.

What happened to Nadia other than she was killed?? Details! Did they ever catch the killer?? I love this show but they do this crossover stuff way too much. Was the conclusion on another show? I know it wasn't on Chicago Fire.
