Very Scary People (2019– )

I'm sure they'll get around to........
1 April 2024
Carl Eugene Watts, Wayne Williams, Samuel Little, Henry Louis Wallace, Lorenzo Gillard, Maury Travis, Eddie Lee Mosley, John Floyd Thomas, Jake Bird, Roberta Elder, Chester Turner.

Watts, dubbed by the press as the "Sunday Morning Slasher," Watts was assumed to be experiencing delusion after being diagnosed with Meningitis. When he was younger, he used to hunt rabbits and stalk his female classmates, then he committed his first murder at 15 years old. According to AP, he killed for a span of eight years claiming the lives of 14 to 100 women.

In 1981, Williams was arrested for the murders of two adult men. However, during his trial, prosecutors suggested he was also behind a string of 22 murders of children in Atlanta. Though he maintained his innocence, forensic evidence from his home and vehicle connected him to several victims. He was sentenced to life in prison, though many people still believe he is innocent.

Little is known as the most prolific serial killer not just because of his crimes but because he confessed to a large number of unsolved murders just two years before he died. Little had been killing since the 50s but was sentenced for good in 2014 for killing three women in the 80s. His DNA was then connected to another string of strangulations. In an interview with a Texas Ranger, he confessed to unsolved killings in over a dozen states bringing the total up to 93 people dead.

If they are going to profile serial killers, they should not let silly criteria such as race, gender, age of the victims filter their profiles.

Listen-up Biden supporters! A cell phone can ping cell towers just by being powered up. When a call is placed to 911 on a cell phone, the cell phone relays it's GPS location to the 911 sytem. And since when does a state trooper whine on the radio? Hollywood has been a real crap factory since Harvey Weinstein got sent up.

Sardonic! (that means satirical for the publically educated) It says that in the description....

I can see why the progressives are so upset, the playbook parallels the democrat party so closely or vice versa (control of the press, misinformation, distortion of science and truth, fabricated crises).

Very touching. Doesn't matter who you are.

I've been a suspect in a murder investigation. I've been the innocent guy in the interrogation room. The victim was someone with whom I was romantically involved and it was too in a small Southern town. I had to stand back and watch while someone else was prosecuted for the crime. That person spent 17 years of his life sentence in prison before, with the assistance of Scheck's Innocence Project (The Innocence Project would have handled it for him but he was not on death row), he himself got his sentence vacated based on DNA evidence or lack thereof. Not a week goes by that I don't think about her and him and just how easy it would have been for an over zealous detective to make me guilty. I think the only reason why my wife didn't see my tears was she was trying to hide her own. This series rips the tears out of you through that grapefruit size lump in your throat. If you guys will make that last season and tie up all the loose ends, I'll come back and give it ten stars.

This is Sam Hargrave's directorial debut, what could be next?

The only disappointment in the whole movie was the cliff jump was CGI'd. Dar Robinson would have bagged it, cabled it or just freakin jumped it.

You gave it how many stars?
25 April 2020
I gave it one star because it had Colin and not Will Farrell. It may have been a 7 star movie to those of average intelligence, but for those of us who graduated college way back last century, there were just too many improbabilities to make the story acceptable. The shortest marriage on record was the mortician who asked his bride on their wedding night to "lay still." And what father would share a secret like that with his son? And Cardiologists don't get personally involved with the families of "former" patients. This movie is so full of BS, maybe Will Farrell should have been the lead.

Great Cast!

With so many experienced actors in this film, one would have thought they would tell Justin to "StFU!" and just directed their own scenes. But that ain't what happened in this waste of cellulose. The first black senator was Hiram Revels who took his seat in 1870. So this story had to have taken place after then. Lee could have given a 1866 Winchester to Sorvino and she wouldn't have looked so awkward handling a rifle. Nice lookin horses though and Mira Sorvino definitely put the weight on in all the right places.
