This Fool (2022)
Geared for a niche audience?
An lot of rave reviews which I just didn't see. Found it to be full of stereotypes and cringeworthy attempts at humor. Think it is teetering on the edge of offensive.
We Need to Do Something (2021)
One of the worst movies of the last 50 years!
It is quite obvious that the only cast member to have attended an acting class was the snake. The screenwriter is also suffering from dementia. The plot makes absolutely no sense. The literary world has that contest for the worst sentence. Was this an entry for the cinematic equivalent?
Diana (2021)
Is Mel Brooks doing a sequel to the Producers?
I am surprised this was done by the creative team behind the musical Memphis. I enjoyed that show. Diana has some of the worst lyrics I have ever heard. I laughed a lot at the choreography. This is the ideal show to watch if you are a fan of train wrecks.
Midnight Mass (2021)
Loved it!
Wasn't expecting much. Couldn't stop watching. Binged all 7 episodes. Great writing and performances.
The Voyeurs (2021)
Does having attractive stars make a movie worth watching?
Not very well written. Absurd plot. Wasted time watching this.
Awkwafina Is Nora from Queens (2020)
Cringe worthy!
One of the most cliched , poorly written shows to ever get on the air. Absolutely no redeeming qualities. The performers will be too embarrassed to list on resume.
Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist (2020)
Wasn't expecting much but got surprised.
Yes it is very cliched and filled with stereotypes. Hopefully the writers will get more creative in expanding the characters. Found the musical numbers fun. Also found it to be very touching. Looking for more.
The Aeronauts (2019)
Very misleading!
Watched it because it was supposed to be about true events. Thought it was ok. When I looked up the lead Amelia Rennes, she is fictional! What an insult to the family of the man who lived through this. You want to make a star turn for Felicity go ahead and fictionalization all the characters.
A Christmas Carol (2019)
Loved it!
It is a refreshing change from the usual version. I do like the Alistair Sim version but this is a totally different story and well worth watching. Definitely not for family hour with the little ones. The performances were excellent! Storyline much darker and grittier. Kudos to FX. Hope they continue giving us great shows.
