Been Rich All My Life (2006)
Wonderful movie about the love of dancing
I saw this movie at its premier in my hometown and I must say it was amazing. I was expecting a documentary (usually more boring than entertaining with a very bland narrator), but this wasn't one at all!!! There was no narrator and you really get attached to the characters like a "regular" movie. Watching these ladies from when they were young in the '20s to their current age (80s and 90s) just pulls at your heartstrings--because they are still kickin' it! (literally!) If you have a chance, go to the premier in New York on July 21st!! You will love it and your attendance will help it go national!! My compliments to Heather MacDonald (director).
Gilmore Girls (2000)
Hello, I am a Gilmore addict!
I started watching Gilmore Girls in its first season and since then I have not been able to miss an episode. It contains all that a girl could wish for, wonderful characters, humor, romance, drama, and of course some extremely fast talking actors!! The writing is impeccable with so many witty jokes you just can't stop laughing.
I own all five seasons and will be one of the first to buy the 6th when it comes out...and then I will proceed to watch it nonstop for the next 24 hours.
If you have not seen Gilmore Girls I beg you, do watch it. Maybe it isn't for you, but I bet it is. Go get some Gilmore in your life!!!
