Three Wise Men and a Baby (2022 TV Movie)
10/10
Bravo! What a gem!
20 November 2022
This movie is one of Hallmark's finest! I enjoyed every minute of it. It is funny, moving, meaningful and it really touched my heart. The cast is fantastic too!👏👏👏

This is a Christmas movie that shows what family is all about: sticking together, not leaving when life gets tough, finding out how empty life is without love in it and that what millions of parents, especially single parents do every day, is exceptional and priceless.

I enjoy Hallmark movies a lot and especially if they are as wonderfully made as this one.

I definitely recommend this movie and will gladly watch it again. Wishing everyone a merry Christmas season in advance.

Disappointing!
20 November 2022
While the cast was good, (Tamera Mowry-Housley is great in many Hallmark movies) I didn't like the storyline at all.

There are so many great, feel-good Hallmark Christmas movies that leave you feel warm and fuzzy inside, this one just felt awkward and I could hardly finish it. I was annoyed by the lies and the storyline. There are a lot of single parents out there, a lot of little girls without a dad, should we all invent a prince to make the child feel better and then hire an "actor" to make it all come "true"? Aren't there better ways?

This movie wasn't for me at all and I wouldn't recommend it, or watch it again.

How to Find Forever (2022 TV Movie)
1/10
Does it get any worse than this movie?
11 October 2022
I didn't care to finish this movie. The acting was stiff, bad and there was no chemistry at all between the two leads. Also her outfits on a farm?! Ridiculous!

I usually enjoy movies like this, but for me it was unwatchable and not enjoyable at all. The opposite was the case, watching them act made me feel awkward and irritated and oftentimes I could just shake my head.

If romantic movies were all like this, I wouldn't want to watch a single one. Thankfully there are great ones out there though.

This one ("How to Find Forever", or "Cider and Sunsets", either way it's bad!) was a waste of time and to think about the waste of budget! A shame!

Well done!👏👏👏
2 October 2022
I enjoy this show a lot (I didn't know what to think in the first half an hour or so, but then it was growing on me and I started to get excited)! I look forward to each new episode. It satisfies my wish for more LOTR adventures.

Many have written that the characters have no soul and I strongly disagree. The characters (Elrond, Galadriel, Elendil, Arondir, Durin, Nori and many more) are very likeable and I want to know what comes next. The journey of all of them is exciting, well made and I feel there is a lot of soul in all of them and the story too.

I enjoy the buildup, the epic moments and the fantastic cinematography, visuals and music very much and I never skip the intro.

Thanks for making this series. I hope many episodes (seasons) will follow. Well done Amazon!👏👏👏

JJ+E (2021)
10/10
I don't get the low ratings.
23 March 2022
Warning: Spoilers
I could feel the love between Elizabeth and John-John, I could feel their pain too. The music was perfectly chosen, from the beginning of the movie it spoke to me. The scene in the pool (beginning) very sensual. I could feel JJ not wanting to be involved in criminal activities, but his friend was like a brother to him and he didn't want to let him down. A real struggle. He knew the things they did were very wrong, but he didn't know how to break the cycle.

You could feel the love that was put into this movie (the scene with JJ and his mom on the sofa for instance).

I shed some tears during (JJ+E's) love scene as it was so beautifully made and from when JJ's friend was killed I cried all the way to the end actually and I am far from being a teenager anymore. I'm rating 10, as it was a real winner for me. Thanks for sharing this wonderful movie @Netflix.

Would like to see more mystery movies/thrillers like this one on Netflix.
4 March 2022
Warning: Spoilers
A good murder mystery (like one of the better lifetime movies, or the classics from back in the day).

Many have written it's boring, but I really enjoyed it and it kept me guessing, as there are twists and turns until the very end of the movie and you wonder if there is more to be revealed. I could really feel Beth's frustration and fear and liked Zain as her friend and his advice that "the heart is your guide" is very true too. Always trust your gut!

I'd like to see more movies like this one on Netflix.

Meaningful, moving, cute AND funny!
4 March 2022
What a delight! It had me laughing out loud (Manny) and moved too. This is an absolute feel-good movie, but it has meaning too and shows what it truly means to love someone, flaws and all.

Toxic teenage porn. Yuck!
4 March 2022
Warning: Spoilers
I couldn't watch until the end as I felt really uncomfortable watching this teenage porn. I'm not into any porn and don't like constant unnecessary sex scenes without any meaning. It makes me sad to think that this is how young people act? She doesn't have any self-respect (stalking a guy and telling him she wants him to fall in love with her, then lets him use her, break into her room etc.), he says he doesn't like her, calls her a witch, still she wants him, he can have her whenever he wants, what a stupid girl! Why put a movie like this out there?! To show young people how it's done? What a pointless, embarrassing movie! I do only recommend to those who love pointless sex scenes and toxic "relationships".

Advantageous (2015)

The 23 minute short film of this might be more bearable.
1 December 2021
I liked Jacqueline Kim (Gwen) in the movie and that there was a connection between mother and daughter and that there was some kind of connection between Gwen and Fisher. Otherwise the movie feels hollow to me. I wanted to watch this entirety, but some parts were so unbearable and way too stretched that I had to press fast forward. I gave this movie a chance and was hoping for some closure in the end, but when it was over I was just mad at myself that I've watched this movie.

Wow France, way to go! I give this movie 10 stars, because it's different, refreshing, with a great story, great actors and great music and time just flew by watching it.

Great mystery thriller.
16 May 2021
Warning: Spoilers
That was a great mystery thriller. It was exciting and not boring for one bit. I especially liked that it showed how it can be like to live with mental health disorders and/or grief. It was a great view into the life of someone with PTSD. It was so frustrating to see how she was doubting herself, giving up because of that terrible grief and guilt (Anna/Amy filming that good-bye video, wow! That acting), but then trusted herself again and believed in herself again and because of that made it out of that House.

Thanks Netflix.
16 May 2021
Warning: Spoilers
I won't add much here, as most of the high ratings say it all already.

Bspitti's review was on point, I absolutely agree.

This is a story of a marriage falling apart and of spirits around (good and bad). It shows an abusive husband who is willing to do anything to succeed and how important it is for women and a community to support each other and to not look away. This is not a usual horror movie (which I liked), it goes much deeper and that's why I am rating it so high. It has an important message. 9 stars because the ending was a bit disappointing, but still good enough.

Meaningful and amazing.
10 July 2020
I enjoyed every minute of it (well, except for the last 10 minutes, or so). I've binge-watched all of the episodes already and it was one of the best shows I've seen on Netflix, thank you for making this mini-series. Zac Efron and Darin Olien, what a great team, great chemistry. The only downside, it was over too soon.

The Occupant (2020)
1/10
Worst movie I've seen in a very long time, if not ever!
23 June 2020
Warning: Spoilers
What a waste of time, what a stupid movie! I've watched a man who has the devil inside of him manipulate people, destroy families, just so he can be in his old place again and have his dream job?! Are you freaking kidding?! I can't believe this movie is even being shown. Plus it was extremely unrealistic too (why call 911 when my husband is dying, when I can call Javier to the rescue and hide so he can do whatever with him, seriously?). Why would you want to make a movie like this?! It is VERY disturbing.

Entertainment is a good thing, but this is simply torture.

Amazing Interiors (2018– )
3/10
Disappointing and not what I expected.
30 May 2020
I was looking forward to seeing beautiful, aesthetic homes (I know, we all have a different taste and style), but most of what I've seen was (for me!) crazy and just way too much. Nothing I could just watch to relax and be amazed at how beautiful their homes are. Even though I could tell how much passion and love and most of all money, they've all put into their homes. Thankfully some were beautifully designed and decorated (luxury penthouse, cat house, recycled house, etc.) others (most of them) just way too much for me and not really about design, sorry (circus house, house of horrors, etc.). I fast forwarded through most of the series. The motto of the show seems to be more like, "oh my! Look at this, crazy!" rather than "oh wow, so clever and beautiful".

If you like "extraordinary" homes and designs with a dash of crazy and weird (sorry, just my opinion), then this is your show.

Peter Rabbit (2018)
2/10
So disappointing. Not the Peter Rabbit I know.
25 February 2020
This movie is so disappointing. I wanted to like it, but I just couldn't. Peter and friends show such a nasty behaviour. Back in the day Peter Rabbit was cute and cheeky yes, but never did it make you mad like this movie does. This movie shows no respect for somebody's property, shows that stealing is absolutely fine and abusing and harming others totally normal behaviour. I've got to add that the animation was amazing though, they did a fantastic job there and it's just a shame that it wasn't the cute and funny Peter Rabbit I was looking forward to see. 2 Stars only because of the excellent animation. Sorry, but I cannot recommend this movie.

A heartfelt and uplifting movie.
2 February 2020
What an amazing movie. It made me laugh and it made me cry. It goes right to the heart. The storyline was wonderful, very emotional too and I absolutely recommend this movie. The cast was lovely and I especially enjoyed to see Imelda Staunton and Timothy Spall. It won't be the last time that I've seen this wonderful movie.

Such a fantastic show! I'm looking forward to season 3.
12 January 2020
I enjoy this show a lot. It's addictive. I enjoy watching everything about the young superheroes and how they combat evil. I didn't think it's boring at all, not for a minute, it's quite the opposite, it's exciting and I want to see and know more about the Titans. Thanks for this fantastic show, I'm looking forward to season 3.

Great Show! Please give us another season.
13 November 2019
This is a great family drama and you are hooked right from the beginning. It really touched my heart. I like that there are no inappropriate words, or scenes. It's a show that you can watch with the whole family and you can discuss it too (what would you do?, how would you feel?, etc.) You can relate how difficult times can be, but also that family sticks together, no matter what. There need to be more shows like this one, so a big thumbs up from me. I really hope there will be a season 2.
