Worse show

James Nesbit is terrible in this series! His character as a deranged detective drags on way too long! In the real world he would have been fired by the department a long long time ago, let alone his melt down in the autopsy room with the medical examiner! He definitely needs psychiatric care and support if not bring locked ip in a straitjacket!

The show is slow and drags on and on with him becoming more deranged by the minute. I love BritBox original English police shows , but thus is one they should have never made! They should have cast it differently with someone other than James Nesbit!

I hope they don't make a season two because it would be a waste of their money!

This series is filmed very dark, making it very hard to see anything or what is occurring! I understand that the director was probably simulating the actual candle lighting of the time! However this ruins the series by making the screen images so dark that you can't see the action that is occurring!

Why Tom ever sought to have a relationship with a woman not connected with the agency was stupid! And Ellie not being understanding but using her "it is me or your job" tactic upon Tom is irrational, petty, and unacceptable!!!! She Rutherford lives the man or she doesn't!

This series could have been better if it did not jump around the way it does. Also, I think it was miscast! Viola Davis dies not look like nor does she have the mannerisms of Michelle Obama, Michelle Pfeiffer does not look like or resemble plus she did not have the mannerisms of nor did she do a good job of portraying Betty Ford, O-T Fagbenle barely resemble the President plus he did a horrible job portraying him!!!!

Gillian Anderson was the absolute best at portraying Eleanor Rosevelt. With her makeup she looked like the First Lady and she had the mannerisms down, she did a superb job of portraying Eleanor Rosevelt!

Miss Lane is a busy body who likes to stir trouble with her neighbors! She was raised a privilege spoiled brat and remains such! She can nit relate to the trials and troubles of the poor working class neighbors!

This movie could have been better if they had chosen some one other than Keira Knightly to portray the character of Cecelia in the movie, and if the character of Briony had not been so meddlesome and had not living in some fantasy never never land of make believe! She ruined the life of Robbie by having him sentenced to prison and her sister Cecelia!

Why wasn't the mother controlling and supervising her daughter Briony more versus reinforcing her make believe world???

She is not a good actress and her drama pulls down what otherwise is a great show!

I was hoping they were going to totally write her out of the show forever!

Tell me where is the open family live here! The ganged up on Danny at dinner and then Erin took it upon herself to wait until Danny left to give him a further lecture!

Why did Tom let Ellie's spoiled BRAT (who is covered in cookie dough and chocolate) use his swipe card to unlock the door! Why didn't he tell her "NO"!!!!

Then she plays with the card swiping it up and down jamming the system! Then she covers the card in cookie dough (to which her mother doesn't scold her or discipline her) and Ellie then gets cookie dough in the swipe pad from the cookie dough that her spoiled rotten brat had smeared onto Tom's swipe card!

This kid is in dire need of discipline!

This is the most ridiculous movie!!! The make event planner is a closed minded "JOCK" and is anti-marriage! His idea of a wedding is a back yard barbecue!

The groom in this movie is also a "JOCK" just like his cousin the Event Planner! In this marriage I see " DIVORCE " in her foreseeable future! This is just the worse Hallmark movie ever made, totally unbelievable and doesn't even come close to reality!

Why did Mrs Blandings treat her husband so badly? When the alarm goes off, why didn't she get up? No, she just held the alarm clock out of his reach until he got up! Every time he is in the bathroom shaving, she has to dibby dab her face which always makes him nick himself! She stays in bed fir him yo bring her coffee! She took his small two 1/2 drawers from the chest away to put her stuff in them! She always takes the childrens side and blames him, she is always ridiculing him telling him " why can't you cooperate "!

The casting is not near as good as the 1992 version! In this new mini series the actresses who play Margaret and Helen totally over acted their roles, especially Philippa Coulthard who played Helen! I have never seen this role so ill portrayed! She is not a good actress especially in this role!

I never understood from the very first episode why Chief Superintendent Bright always disliked and had such a bad opinion of Moss! If it had not been for Thursday, Moss would never had lasted!

Love this show! I only wish PBS and Masterpiece would produce more episodes of this show! It is one if their best shows!!!

I was glad to see Dr Natalie Manning finally leave the show! She was always do overbearing, pushy, and everything had to be her way or no way! I was equally happy to see April leave the show! She was always breaking and stretching the rules to suit her needs, and there really wasn't anyone left for her to sleep with on the show!

The two new Drs they added are not very screen friendly, which leads one to wonder why they were chosen!

Season six they let one of the best actors and characters, Dr Connor Rhodes, leave the show!

He makes decisions without ever consulting his wife or children! He is a bully!
