WTF ????????!!! How do I get my time back?

Confusion isn't the word and waste of time is an understatement. There is so much wrong with this musical I don't know where to start. In the early 2000's I wasn't invested in JLo's career or music but this was a major fail. I felt no connection to the story, songs or concept. The entire time I felt embraced to watch this and was cringing every musical performance because nothing was genuine. I truly feel like she was trying to hop on the Beyoncé train seeing how well lemonade took off with visual film but what is already made can't be duplicated. This is a good example of if you're a master at everything, you're a master at nothing.

I have tired to give them a chance but once again they find away for me to say never again. It's like all you hear over and over and over again about how people are haters. While yes, some of peoples comments are unnecessary but there are people who are going to criticize you(not a bad) are just expressing their concerns from what they see. But everyone around them are kissing. Their ass and no one is holding them accountable and being honest with them. All I hear you're right, don't worry about people's opinion but NEWS FLASH!!!! You created this world so people are going to have opinions. Everyone episode gets old. You say you want people see your life okay, then should something we haven't seen. The show is curated around what the media says to debunk or elaborate on what the news says. How about showing us how you started business, a day from morning to night what it's like to run your business. NO ONE cares about your relationship anyways. Watching this show is like watching a hamster run on a wheel, eventually you get bored.

This show worst than I thought and to bad I'm unable to get the time I wasted on this show. Stop making stupid people famous. They have no value nor talent. This show was BORING!!!! There real people with real talent who don't steal other creators dance choreography. And the stories, not inspiring. So many of the conversations between everyone feels forced and storyline is terrible. Pleas Nikita Dragon is not even apart of the group. It's like you guys were fishing to relevant to the teens yet, forcing your paying customers to be exposed to these kids that have no real struggles. Please delete this show and the world will forget this ever happened.

Entergalactic (2022)

Best adult Animation

To intertwined art, fashion, music and love I couldn't have asked for anything more. Such a creative way of creating an adult animation that's relatable and honest. I love the complexities of Jabari trying to juggle love, friendship and work. It's something we all do everyday. I felt like through this movie, I've met some like Jabari; chill, honest, charming and super creative. And what make him even more cool was that his art I could see around big cities like New York, Oakland or even Los Angeles. I can honestly say this movie made me fall in love with Jabari, lol. And the music brought the animation together. I would watch this over and over agin. Hell, maybe have this a first date movie :) Kenya Barris is such an amazing director. I hope there is more to this series.

P. S those who said this series was boring and predictable wasn't looking at the bigger picture. Is shivery completely dead, we can't appreciate it when we see it in films???

Missing (I) (2023)

Amazing!

What happens when your parent goes missing? How far will go to find the truth? This movie was amazing from beginning to end. Storm Reid was truly amazing to watch in the screen. I fully understood what she was going through and roller coaster ride her character June had to go through. How do you prepare a young adult for moments like these. Using your phone and internet as a tool rather to help in times of need but also to be careful to who has access to your devices. It made me think I'd have kids in the future, to have open and honest discussions about what's happening around them and how to use their technology in a more useful way in case danger occurs.

Morbius (2022)

It's laughing time!

If your looking for something to have in the background while you are doing house chores and laugh here and there, this is your movie. I had no idea who the hell Michael(Morbus) is but boy did I have a good laugh especially when the guy on the boat saw Michael on the ceiling and that girl(can't remember her name, sorry) try to warn him not to move and he call for backup yet didn't use a walkie talkie but some how was able to communicate with his team for backup lol classic. Not to mention he has a secret lab that he hiding bats in a contained cylinder within a hospital he works like make it make sense. The amount of i consistency and non follow ups had me laughing through out the movie.

Senior Year (2022)

This is the most cringiest movie I have ever seen. I get what the premise of story but the message was not coming through and it was unreliable. I had to speed through some of the scenes like the remake of Britney Spears Crazy video dance sequence. I can't express how awkward it was watching this movie. It wasn't funny and I feel like a lost a couple of brain cells. The main character had no struggle of trying to fit into the new generation. There was too much focus on her becoming popular and prom queen it became soo boring. I wish Netflix would have did a revise of this movie before producing it.

Amazing Movie and Tribute to Chadwick

This movie speaks volumes. All of the bad reviews are people who wasn't looking at the big picture. This movie was about the different impact of grief and process of healing. This isn't just another superhero movie. This speaks to what we are dealing with right now. The movie is showing use that everyone has a way of processing grief and that your feelings are valid but don't let it consume you. All though in this movie we were saying farewell to Chadwick, this movie allowed me to be at peace with the love ones I had to say farewell too as well. I lost my Tia to breast cancer and my grandma passed a few years after I graduated college. I understood what Shuri went through feeling helpless that you couldn't save the ones you love and wishing you had more time to spare with them but knowing they are always there with you. This is a movie we needed. Teaching the next generation to allow yourself to process your grief.

Barbarian (2022)

The beginning of the movie start off great. A realistic idea of a double booking of a Airbnb And all the things that would scare you does. The person your could be staying might be a murder yet your not sure and then you get this creep vibe of the house your staying in. What immediately turn me off and confused was the second act. It felt like the second act was rushed and not throughly thought out. Adding a new character who is obnoxious and annoying meant nothing. Also the ending movie left me empty. Had this movie expanded on the terror of double booking of Airbnb this movie would have been good.

Resident Evil (2022)

Avoid this series at all Cost and Support the video game creators. The storyline IS MUCH BETTER!!!!!!!

If I could give this series a zero I would. This was a phloyd to use Resident Evil to get views and keep subscribers. If you have played the video games, you will know right off the bat none of these characters are apart of Resident Evil. The zombies are called Zeros instead of Zombies. Everything of this series makes no sense and they don't give an explanation to any of their theories as to why Billie is immune to the T Virus. If you love the Resident Evil franchise, just continue playing the video games. The storyline is clear and more fun. Trust me, I'm saving you time, money, and emotional distress.

Elvis (2022)

Hard to sit through and watch

I have never listen to Elvis music but I wanted to heard his story. Given that I was already aware of him stealing Black artist music, I found his story to be a fit creepy and hard to watch. The relationship he had with his mother was a HUGE turn off and made me see him as creep and his manager was just someone look for a quick buck to make. He was like the parent creating his dream through Elvis. And the soundtrack bothered me because this movie was trying to mix modern day hip-hop/ r&b that wasn't fit with the time. This was the perfect movie to showcase Elvis music to people who wasn't never listened to him. Normally I love Baz Luhrmann's film but this one was isn't. In fact is was a disappointment.

It was bad yet wasn't good. It seem like Trinity and Curtis-Lee had faith to rebuild their church from a scandal yet they never really said what the scandal was or was afraid to. I found myself trying figure it out until the end but by that time I became uninterested. I wish the story would have just said the scandal rather than dance around it. I know where in a sensitive time where sensitive topic can trigger people but if it's going to have a scandal that is alluring to SA then say it otherwise your wasting the viewers time. I felt like I was going with the flow to figure out what this movie is about and then got to the end to be like okay, that's it?

Sing 2 (2021)

All the emotions wrapped it one. truly. Delight!

From the moment the movie started I was dancing and sing. I miss movies that bring so much joy and the ending was everything and more. I found myself crying multiple times some tears of joy and some tears of sadness. I love every moment of this movie!!!

Not going to lie even Hollywood make bad movies but. At least the storyline made sense and flowed better. This movie is so cringe and the characters are awkward. It's hard to like any of them because their storyline was not flushed out. Had this movie started with The dad being a single father with son off to college and now he is a empty nester until her meets a new women and that's when things start to unravel and sons begins to uncover who his new stepmother is and that would have been a better script. This movie jumps critical events, moments and timeline.

UPDATE: I realized after watching this movie, this was a copycat attempt of stepfather except this movie had bad acting, inconsistent storyline and unlikable characters.

House of Gucci (2021)

If I didn't know the story of the Gucci Family from fashion school, this movie would give me no clue to what I was watching. This movie seems more like a mafia crime movie. Everyone knows Gucci for being a fashion brand. Thank god I wait you til this movie was available free on prime because if I saw this in theaters I would have wanted my back. I continuously looked at how much longer I had until the movie was over. In this movie I could careless about any of the characters. And god the music for this movie throws me off. To be honest if this movie would had a better script it would have been more interesting.

A Simple Favor (2018)

The Book is way Better!!

After hearing that A Simple Favor Novel was becoming a movie I was excited and I have to say the movie is a complete letdown. Reading the book was a lot of thrill and some funny moments. The ending of the movie is a complete letdown. I get an adaptation is not going to be the same as the book but I hated every character in the movie, yet in the book, I had more understanding, and their actions made sense. The friendship between Stephanie and Emily wasn't cliché and cringy. I loved Emily in the book more than in the movie.

This show kept me on my toes. I didn't know who to believe but I wanted to kept watching see how the story unfolds and it was better than I expect. I went through an emotional roller. The writing was impeccable I would've never thought it would have ended the way that it did but I'm glad that the writers took us on a journey we were never expecting as an audience. I hope that the writers of the show will continue to make thrillers and dramas just like this because I was fully invested and I was also sad with the show had to end.

Missed the storyline

This reboot of space jam missed the point of the storyline. Instead of trying to so hard to relevant and cool, Warner brothers forgot this movie was marketed to children who probably don't know the looney tunes like the children that grew up on them. The original was about the looney tunes needing help from a legend saving their world from being taken by what I would call Bullies of the cartoon world. The movie it was fun, entertaining as well as teaching kids to stand up for themselves. I get main stream celebrities are not actor which is not what I was looking for. The main reason I watched it for the looney tunes and the storyline. This movie doesn't even compete or compare to the original.

It wasn't a bad movie. It had decent storyline. Now do I plan read the book? Hell no! What's the point. I've played rainbow six siege, ghost recon and division and I see the vision of this movie. Michael B Jordans's acting was great! All these bad reviews are pathetic. Not everything has to go by the book.

This movie had potential but I feel like it was trying to speak to too many issues at once and it didn't have a clear vision or theme. I was curious in the beginning because I've seen euphoria and that show is amazing written but this movie was hard to be fully invested. To be honestly it was like watching the purge and I'm not very fond of that movie trilogy. I was bored from beginning to end.

My expectation for this movie was laughter and curiosity of the storyline. Nothing about this sequel kept my attention. This movie made remarks about sequel but wasn't relevant to the original. If the first one is good, why make a sequel? Don't watch it, you'll just be wasting your time.

I have watched all QT movies. When I saw the trailer i was confused but waited until it came to dvd and thank god I did. Nothing happens in this movie. Where is the story?? Why was this movie even made?? I fell asleep twice and when I woke up still nothing was happening. QT really dropped the ball on this one.
