Black Cake is a long interesting show that in my opinion with the multitudes of lesbian relationships reminded me of "She's Gotta Have It". The opening episode was a crazy one like wow how incredibly disturbing. The second episode of escape and freedom was even deeper. The third episode of an entire jump skip of a new life entirely. Luckily for many fictional shows birth certificates don't exist, because obviously none of this would even be obtainable. ID's can't just be faked anymore. I didn't need to see more and more stories non-stop. I don't even know if the kid's needed to know about the mother used to be a lesbian as well that was faking being straight. I understand societal pressures are a thing, but honestly just be who you are or shut up. I saw the mom has been through a lot Elanor was forced to adapt to everything in her life and being forced to marry a 50 year old gangsta was wild. But the story was getting confused to show this strong advancement for this ideal of love with her man just to find out she was interested in a girl as well and it was to ironically fill in the gaps of Benedette's sex life of being bi sexual maybe...or lesbian. I don't even know anymore. Most times for these stories with narrators become ridiculous because there needs to be something to fill in the gaps of schedule. Another thing with narrators is there are moments that could have never been known. Because the person themselves wouldn't have been present for multiple incidents in the story. It probably even represented many Jamaican women experience because there are some heavy pasts behind Jamaican women. Getting raped and for some reason still giving birth to the baby. The scenario's and problems. Once the scene of the daughter being a lesbian I knew this show would be on to end it with lesbian love was what killed Little Man. Most shows with black women being involved in being lesbians it became predictable how it was going to end. The manipulation in this show was crazy. The experiences didn't make sense. Shoot with all of these stories I am surprised there wasn't a series where we find out the protesting Jamaican in England dad was gay at one point also which please do not do. All these people all looked the same age throughout the flashbacks, so it's always hard watching older people attempt to play younger roles. That's why most Disney shows only survive a person's childhood. All these adults are playing teenage roles. Being betrayed by a nun was nuts with her own child. Truly was a story on how cold, confusing, challenging and unfair life is.

A.I. Artificial Intelligence (2001)

This was a great Steven Spielberg movie for a moment. I enjoyed the details of this movie. Trying to figure out this movie, was incredibly hard. However, I am insanely disappointed and unsatisfied. It was sad to see David the AI get thrown out because he was replaced by the natural son Martin. I was expecting the idea of trying to have artificial intelligence learn love would have went horribly wrong. However, the plan was perfect for this false AI. The narrator was completely unnecessary. I was expecting a better moment, not an artificial intelligence version of Pinocchio. This movie for me was nothing, but a new copy of it. This movie pulled on the heart strings of me I cannot lie about that. The fact that this movie had a narrator didn't help me. The graphics were amazing, the idea of the movie could have been better, however, like I said I enjoyed it, but.

The Equalizer 3 (2023)

The Equalizer three had me laughing from Denzel's demeanor, to his threats and to his training. It was nice to see an entirely different staff and the connections built upon previous movies. I loved the fight scenes the most. Denzel always does killer acting. I thought some of the scenery shot's were beautiful. I love the fact that the movie showed the battle of guilt and shame for enjoying the monster he can be, while simultaneously keeping moments when he can be relaxed and cool. For me I did wish the movie was longer to be the finisher I wanted to see him go all out like the other's. It felt short to me.

100 Streets (2016)

The movie for me wasn't well put together. I love Idris Elba like the next person that does. However, this movie to me didn't make much sense. I had an issue following the movie to be honest. The sex scene was the only good thing about the movie. This movie covered a lot of human emotions, but to what problem. The movie had way too many plots. It really was an interesting movie and I truly lost myself. This movie also felt really dragged along and was overboard boring. None of these three movies felt like they had any connection at all. When I think about it I came to one conclusion to tie these movies together. Pain. This movie in my opinion was about pain, how we cope, and some of the toxic things we do to reach some level. This movie was not at all for me, but maybe for other's.

First, of all let me say wow what a movie opener. When I saw the movie open with Brian Hooks and his wife I had a feeling based on their dynamic and actual relationships where men are the providers they are getting cheated on. When we discover his wife is actually cheating on him with someone. I had a similar response when watching the movie and even so, amped up what I would have done if I walked in on something like that. We shortly discover that she was having an affair with his best friend. The acting in this movie is good and nothing seems over exaggerated. It was wild Evelyn used to be a thief and witnessed someone die. This movie definitely did not try to speed past their sex scene. The movie in my opinion also took a while to pick up. Also at times the soundtrack music seemed wrong for the moment. WOW What an ending to discover! I loved the hell out of this ending.

This movie I enjoyed. First, I loved the corny and silly opening for how they make AI Wives. The movie didn't have anything thought provoking. I loved the fact that the AI wives existed. I like this a lot. This movie was trying hard to be clever and activist format. I loved seeing the AI sex scenes as well. It was definitely strange to see the AI's fighting back in such a way. However, I liked the movie details. It was interesting to see that the plot. My father and I struggled to figure out the plot, but we eventually did. Especially when they had to keep dream hoping to attack other people. I enjoyed the plot twist of him being a stalker to Meredith. I wasn't thinking it was murder on everybody. The flashbacks should have been in a different order, but that's okay. I wish it stayed focus on the relationships the whole time. Very simple plot. Hopefully another movie is made like this just in a more male focused way. I liked the ending to this movie.

Sin Apple (2022)

Sin apple is an intense movie of lust and desire. What you may want may not be what you actually wanted. There's always a consequence to your actions and reactions. The movie has it's twist and turns with good actors for the most part. A great independent film. There was a lot in this movie that gave good thriller movie vibes and feels. Scenes were clear and well shot in Las Vegas which looked amazing. Realistically, this should be considered a Christian Horror or Christian Thriller. The actors and actresses gave a great performances. If you haven't seen this movie I would recommend it. A wonderful independent movie and can't wait to see more by this director.

A Day Late and a Dollar Short (2014 TV Movie)

This was surprisingly a great movie to see. This movie really provided a lesson that sometimes in life you can't do anything to break the chaos you and your family may have. It also provides a lesson on how hard life is and how hard it can be. It was a great performance. I couldn't take the movie when the scene came up with the children reading the letters to each other, because it was a little too prepared. How would she have known everything up to the last detail. However, it was still a nice scene to watch. It brought the tears out of me as a good movie. As I watched this I thought the cast did a wonderful job. I didn't know if this could play well with the celebs in it, but they all had a great.

First, let me say I am from the "other side" and I watched this movie as genuinely as I could. I won't lie I loved the exposure of Black Lives Matter, because it showed the issue of having it be anything more than a non profit organization. I see what the concern is and what the problem is with them. Seeing that the spent money on a new site, other non profits, sex businesses and lbgtq places (I support them whole heartedly). It was sad to say the least to see that they were not even involved a little bit in trying to advance black people in the struggle of America. So I saw you there Candace! Lol While watching this movie I saw what the issue was and what was being said when it comes to the attacks could be intense. I am guilty of it and also had it be done to me as well from the right. I see what Candance was saying there was a problem with drugs. I understand that. Derek Chauvin was very quiet during the trial and was quiet in general. However, there was no evidence to the contrary outside of the claim to prove that Derek Chauvin didn't have a violent history as a cop, even though evidence was found. Now, I will also say that in this documentary something else I liked was hearing about where George lived and understanding that they didn't get any financial gain or any visitors. That does speak volumes about the negative impacts of the media. My question would be Candace is what do you intend to do for black people in America? Where is it that if I put my trust in you as a leftist black man will you take us? But that's rhetorical. It was nice that in the end she helped get the car removed and paid some back rent for George Floyd. I can say I agree. I thought Black Lives Matter was just going to be a convenience flag at most. Not a corporation hungry for money. It should go without saying I did see through some if not all the lies that were also apart of this documentary. No documentary is ever 100% I know people are all watching this by this point. Ye is helping ya make money. Now as far as George Taking the Meth/Fent I understand he was on drugs and even him calling his girlfriend, his mother-in-law and his actual mom that I feel is irrelevant. If he called everyone "Mama" there is no true way for people on either position to interpret what he meant. The pill that was found was never talked about. The evidence of that would make sense. But at the same time there was some dishonesty shown also only small pieces of the video when the knee was on his back vs being of his neck because it was in fact on his neck for 8 minutes factually and was zoomed in on and this also takes me back to the violent history he has had prior reports of violence and arrests done to black people in his career. There was very cherry picked and specific items pointed out only and it came off as mildly dishonest. But in the long run, I think Candace should do more documentaries on exposures of companies that claim to support blacks and haven't once.

No Time to Die (2021)

To me the story was very predictable. However, I did enjoy this movie as the final good bye to 007. At least the male one. I personally think 007 should just be dropped entirely this concept was cool ONCE, but jeez! The story did have a small twist but nothing that put me in shock. I knew that the daughter was his. Also, the fact that Madeleine was sleeping with the man that killed her family and the psychopath, Safin, who also lost his family to Madeleine's father is a messed up as hell. Safin thought the daughter was his and she wasn't, which does tell me that Madeleine was having raw dog fun with the murderer of her mother and Safin raw dogged the daughter of the father that killed his entire family. A very backwards storyline. It was also nice to see James Bond give his credential to his replacement so professionally aka Nomi. It was nice nostalgia. Hopefully, this metaphorical welcome mat can be taken away from this movie. Also, Madeleine was a character I did not like and think she should have either been attacked by Safin or let on the island by James Bond.

Bojangles (2001 TV Movie)

I enjoyed this movie. There were parts I could enjoy and parts I didn't enjoy. I appreciated the movie for what is was about a black man entertaining people like a coon that wears blackface. He finds a black woman and she helped him realize that he could entertain people without black face. He had amazing tap dancing skills. It was interesting to see more than one character breaking fourth wall. Unfortunately, it seems black men don't know how to take the black woman's help and return it back. Bojangles cheated on the black woman he loved, and took advantage of his wife's kindness.

Colin in Black & White (2021)

I loved this mini series. This mini series was amazing to watch with his experiences in this horrible country. Growing up adopted with two white parents who couldn't understand the experience of being black in America. He had to cut off his hair for his baseball team. Social racism, stereotyped by police, and many other experiences being related through racism. I myself have been stereotyped, and had social racism with other whites. Colin even still deals with racism in these reviews. The acting was good. The show was relatable. I was called "one of the good ones" as well. I had no idea what that mean't. I also loved the historical facts and comparisons with slavery and modern day sports. I feel the truth is the harsh reality is that life isn't made for you. Just do what you choose to do and block out the noise! I really appreciated this mini series! Thank you Netflix and thank you Colin! Black power.

Squid Game (2021– )

I enjoyed this show it was very interesting to see. This show was intense from start to finish. First, of all the first episode with the red light green light game caught my attention. I had no idea anyone was going to play it with guns so that was wild. Second, camera angles were dope, however shaky camera work some scenes. I also loved the acting and the character development and attachment came so easy with this show. Finally, I loved the story of this show and connections and betrayals. This show was relatable and shows how society in the long run will look out for their own interests while there is still a few good things about humanity as well. Thank you for the show.

Dogface: A TrapHouse Horror (2021)

My review of this movie goes as such. The plot was rushed in my opinion. This movie had its good elements and some were horrible. First, the good. The story itself is a good story. The shots that were taken were actually very good with the angles, and transitions. Now the bad, the acting could have been better, some camera shots were shaky, and the movie felt rushed as well. There is a lot of deepity happening, meaning a lot of things that were said was trying to be deep, but after analyzing it was clear nothing was deep. Now I love black shows, black people, and black stuff, but I am exhausted with the "though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death I will fear no evil". It's almost said in everything with a black cast. I thought the acting was bad. The line also, "Black people have been a endangered species" is not actually a thing. Blacks are human like everyone else, not a different species for one. Next, no we are not endangered. It kind of confused me to see a book appear out of nowhere and all the black people were calm and going with the flow and start daring him to mess with this random book that popped out of thin air. The scene where the cop got his head cut off by dog face, would be a bloody mess. Some blood on his clothes, or at least on the wall. Then the super powers getting involved with prophecy. The dark world for evil dogs and Witches? I am over this original man nonsense as well as a black man. If you study science, science has never said that black people weren't the original people of the world that started evolution in the first place. The ending of this movie left me expecting more to happen.

Stillwater (2021)

The movie seemed to have good acting, but really poor plots. The movie felt too long. While watching the movie I felt a little lost because I wish I had known the reason why the mother/ex wife committed suicide in the story. This kind of seems like we started in the middle of a story that has two parts. It just sucks because The trailer was better than the movie. But I can also appreciate the lesson in this movie that sometimes when you look for the truth it may not exactly be what you think it is. In the mix of this movie or rather in the middle of this movie it is easy to tell that him and his French women have a chemistry that will make their connection stronger and we can also even see that The main character tries to re-raise a daughter. Meanwhile he is lying to his daughter at the same time that got arrested for a crime she committed. The ending of the movie is me find out that she did commit the crime and that Matt Damon had to go through a lot to get his daughter out of jail and he had a new outlook on life. The ending really felt incomplete.

Living in the world where the air was poisonous. Abandoned by your mother and was never educated on how to speak proper sentences. Just insane. I see this was just a repost movie with a narrator with a different title, but it was interesting. Darwin had to take on the chance of survival or so he thought. Being isolated and living in a pod/rover. He then runs into other humans who accept him with open arms. But for some strange reason he understood English very well. Just the idea of not speaking to someone for 9 years seems unbearable. It seems intense that one of the boys with other humans was able to tell what Darwin was saying with air typing. He seemed to relearn how to speak very quickly. The dance moves were horrible. I guess no black people lived on this planet haha. It sucked that his mom lost her grip on reality. Too afraid to go back outside. But Darwin overcame his fear and lived life on his own terms!

Army conspiracy type movie that has lost its plot. Michael B Jordan shot a locker and there was no hole in the locker. When he finally got revenge it seems he couldn't drown. All the problems could never stump him. He always knew the right moves and had a solution for everything. It just seemed like he was invincible and could beat everything and anyone. He even experienced afterlife and somehow managed to get back to the real world. Just too many things he was able to do that would require a lot of explaining. 4 out of 10.

It was different seeing Blair Underwood acting like a psychopath. The acting was horrible. The wardrobe was horrible. Debbi Morgan look really old and ugly and most of her shots. The choreography was horrible. We didn't get to see the baby. That kind of makes it irrelevant now. The police didn't even come to the situation there was a person hit in the face with a golf club and another person that ended up dead from Chance. This movie had its moments.

First and foremost, if being sexually unsatisfied and or desired leads to thinking about your ex boyfriend who used to have sex with you good makes you a terrible person when you have a husband or significant other. To make this issue even worse this story has unfolded in such a way where you thought the conclusion would be different. Cooper tried everything he could to please his wife Billie, he was just growing older and was very busy. He wanted to grow old with Billie And give her a good life and at every instance for the most part where he had to cheat he instead stayed loyal. While in the meantime his wife was just stuck on the obsession by her ex-boyfriend and by that point he was bound to cheat on her because she had put them through so much stress. Quite honestly I am surprised that Cooper didn't beat the crap out of Brad! Billie has a serious sex addiction that needed to chill. If she was unsatisfied with the sex to that point in degree was she still ended up cheating after she fixed the whole scenario she might as well just accept a divorce. Cooper wasn't super innocent in all of this of course but he was actually a good husband that did not do anything to get or deal with the scenario of his super sex addicted loving ex-boyfriend wife. She and him both brought their vows to each other and their dynamics. There was literally no point to their relationship in any logical format. One thing is for sure though I wasted time in my life watching this show. The need to feel desired should never go to that extent it is on necessary and no matter who or with who if the individual cheating should be dumped or divorced.

Safer at Home (2021)

Not as bad as I thought

So when I saw the trailer for this movie I thought it was going to be bad. But I ended up somewhat enjoying this movie. In some scenes of this movie the acting was bad and in others the acting was good. When I saw what happened to Jen I was scared for Evan because nobody saw what happened and a friend of his was accusing him of killing Jen. I think the scenario could have been solved if Evan opened the door and explained what happened. Which would have alerted medical treatment for Jen to be able to come back from being unconscious. Evan in my opinion literally ran away for no good reason, because he seemed like he had a good control of himself with this foreign drug that he took with his friends. What really bothered me was how fast the group bailed on Evan after he died and the cop picked up the phone after they shot him. The movie I thought was going to head in a different direction. But I enjoyed it and wish the plot could have been more up paced.

Annabelle Comes Home (2019)

This movie was too long and too bad. I am ashamed I saw this movie. Thankfully I didn't pay to actually see this movie I saw it through Hulu. This movie had bad actors. It was predictable the whole way through. Daniela was nosey enough to call these "spirits" out into the world because she was curious. Then idiotically she opened the Annabelle case which brought the house of the Warrens into spiral. The daughter Judy Warren was a neglected child from her peers and people around her age group. Her parents Ed Warren and Lorraine Warren went on a trip at this time and not once did the ghost sensing and seeing mother ever kick into gear for her daughter and her friends. Somehow Judy a ten year old and two pre-teen kids managed to beat a demon and demonic possessed doll with just a Christian Cross with Jesus on it. This movie was clearly non-sense in every sense of the word. This movie could've been better for real I hated it and I was sleepy after watching this movie completely.

Dumb and ridiculously funny

This movie was a pathetic circle jerk of idiots making a movie on a flat earth conspiracy based on no evidence. All of the "evidence" was completely anecdotal and weak. This movie was nothing, but fallacies and ignorant comments about people disagreeing with them and trying to help no one. At one point, this movie claimed that there couldn't be air bubbles in space when there were people inside of an space craft. It's like they did no research or don't know what common sense is. So let me just say it for these morons, there can be bubbles in an space craft because it is a closed space and if it was in space void the bubbles would not be able to be sustained in a void. But being inside of a closed space craft, just like how astronaut's could breathe without a mask inside of a space craft. But, of course no sense comes with these flat earth idiots. Then to be even more stupid they dishonestly used video edits of Neil Degrasse Tyson, to try and prove their point of the Earth being flat. These morons doubled down and then attacked Neil Degrasse Tyson's character and challenging him to a debate and he has said on a number of levels that he doesn't debate people on their beliefs or ideas because essentially a idiot will remain an idiot. When the movie ended with Eric Dubay dropping the mic and saying prove me wrong just made me laugh and I was hoping that we just launch him into space and let him choke on the empty void and his head explode and we just keep moving on. Level sucked, and this movie should get removed from the internet and banned.

Little Fires Everywhere (2020)

Every episode literally kept me attached to watching. I was trying to stop watching and every time the episode ended I was watching television. This show had it's religious moments of course, but the show was really good. I loved the acting from most people. Kerry Washington had the worst facial expressions in this movie, however, her acting was decent. The show is crazy when I was convinced that Mia and Pearl were poor people living in their car. When seeing Mia and Elena at first, I thought Mia was the better parent, but she was not. Mia is a sociopathic lying mother and Elena is a selfish, and sometimes evil mother. Elena was very selective with her children on who she would discipline and who she liked. Mia and Izzy had a connection both being artists with a controversial mind and being lesbians. To find out also, that Mia the entire time was a mother that stole her child that she was supposed to be a surrogate for. This was a good show filled with drama at every corner that needed to be had. Interracial relationship racism and differences. The struggle with sex, pregnancy's and abortion. Loss of family. Constant cheating. Exposure of everyone in a family. WOW! Just amazing. An amazing job from everyone in the show!

Hardball (2001)

This movie sucked. First let me say why Keanu Reeves why?! I hate white savior movies. This movie was stereotypical and corny. This movie didn't make any clear point. Helping black kids learn how to play baseball was just a stupid concept. I hate the fact that Michael B Jordan said yes to this movie. This movie also can do without Keanu Reeves trying to sing a Biggie Smalls song. Connor made a dynamic and good relationship with kids overnight and his relationship with the teacher happened so fast and basically overnight. In this movie the kids learned how to play baseball after three scrimmages or practices. This movie was definitely wild to watch and not in the good way. I knew that Keanu Reeves and the students were going to sing Big Poppa to Miles when he had to pitch without music. When Gerry died I was so upset because the movie just made a left turn. Black kids, I am certain don't curse as much as the movie made them curse. I saw this movie needed a chill pill and that it got protested for the black children cursing and acting all wild. This movie sucked and I hated this white savior movie. Two out of ten for me.
