Fallout (2024– )

Another excellent game adaptation

I haven't played the games so I might be highly critical on its accuracy, however, as a general viewer this was a refreshing, unique and excellent tv show for a change.

The shows keeps you engaged by simply not revealing too much too quick. The story is well paced across its run time with a good character arc that builds up evenly between its characters.

In addition, also loved the fact that each characters discovery helps reveal the hidden gems of the plot, with a catchy conclusion to the finale of season 1, I personally can't wait for season 2.

I am more than happy to recommend this tv show to anyone and if you reading this review, it's worth giving this show a try.

Ahsoka (2023– )

Just happy this is one of the better Star Wars shows

In a time where Disney Star Wars tv shows have been lacking quality and excitement, I believe Ashoka is a step in the right path for Disney.

I could whine about how great Star Wars used to be and how Disney ruined it, but there's nothing we can do about that, and Ashoka is one of the better Star Wars contents that exist in the new Disney Star Wars realm.

The score is great, soundtrack is powerful, and the screenplay is slow enough for the audience to take in the big moments.

The set pieces and CGI look great for a tv show, and the actor do a good enough job playing their characters.

In 2023 where expectations are low for Star Wars tv shows, this definitely surpassed it, and makes me hopeful that future Star Wars can be even better.

The Witcher (2019– )

It didn't have to be this way!!

Given that 'The Witcher' as the name suggest is an adaptation of a successful franchise of books and games, the show had a good foundation and an already established story to base a tv show on.

However, show runners have surprisingly found a way to mess up this show with unnecessary plot twists and terrible production Firstly, production feels a little cheap by the end of season 3. Even with a high budget, Witcher feels like a show produced by CW with average to terrible CGI and weird screenplay choices.

Secondly, I am still not certain why the show runner decided to deviate from the original plot that has been proven successful. This is a franchise that is watched predominantly by fans of the franchise, and deviating from the plot is not a good choice.

Finally, the plot does not even revolve around Geralt or yennifer or ciri. There are so many unwanted characters in the story that the plot loses focus at times, and struggles to keep the viewers attention on the main objective.

COULDVE BEEN A GOOD SHOW IF THEY JUST FOLLOWED THE BOOKS.

Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One (2023)

A spectacle of senseless humor, straying from its essence of pure adrenaline.

In the latest installment of the renowned franchise, Mission Impossible 7, a discernible shift is evident as the film appears to prioritize elements of comedy and drama over its trademark action-driven narrative. The series' earlier successes lay in its straightforward yet compelling plots, revolving around the classic conflict between antagonists, protagonists, and the indomitable Ethan Hunt and his team. Notably, the action sequences were known for their intensity, paired with seamless choreography that refrained from incorporating excessive comedic interludes that could disrupt the flow.

However, with Mission Impossible 7, there emerges an appreciable emphasis on grandeur, exemplified through a captivating screenplay and visually striking action scenes. While this approach has its merits, a noticeable yearning for the mature essence exhibited in the preceding films becomes apparent. The pursuit of a broader audience appeal seemingly comes at the cost of sacrificing the inherent charm that once defined the franchise as a paragon of pure action.

In conclusion, Mission Impossible 7 ventures into uncharted territory by delving into comedy and drama, granting the film a new dimension of grandiosity. Yet, some fervent followers of the series may miss the resonating impact of the former action-centric experiences that Mission Impossible movies were celebrated for.

Oppenheimer (I) (2023)

A cinematic experience that gets better over the course of its runtime

Focused on the story of Robert Oppenheimer, his struggles and passion for theoretical physics, Christopher Nolan does an excellent job with his ability to portray the possible struggles and barriers a man of his intellect have to overcome.

Other than the need to get used to the non-linear method of storytelling Nolan adapts, and the fast cuts between scenes I see no other issues with Oppenheimer.

It is clear as day that this movie was not intended for an audience that wants a fun entertainer, rather was intended to an audience that is willing to revisit our history, and learn more about a man that was tasked with a job very few in history have been tasked with.

If expectation are set accordingly, this movie can be rather inspiring.

The Mandalorian (2019– )

Would've been a 9/10 if season 3 didn't exist

How is Mandalorian not the focus in his own show.

Season 1 and season 2 were pretty good that focused on the journey and relationship between Mandalorian and Grogu, however, season 3 seems to completely erase whatever happened in season 1 and 2, and decided to focus on Bo-Katan. Why??

Her character is nowhere interesting, and her character doesn't seem to develop at all.

And show goes on to SIDELINE mando and grogu. THAT WAS THE SELLING POINT FOR THE ENTIRE SHOW.

Moreover what was the episode with Lizzo. She seemed out of place and the entire episode seemed like an SNL skit.

Come on Disney don't ruin the only good show in the Starwars universe.

Thor: Love and Thunder (2022)

This was disappointing. Worst entry in the MCU universe.

The movie for the most part of it felt very unfocused. There were some possibilities of a serious and engaging storytelling in it's plot, but was ruined by the addition of humor.

As a marvel movie, the plot seems to be stagnant in terms of phase 4. This movie seems to be a standalone film of a Thor adventure, instead of a movie that could give the audience a better idea of the bigger picture.

As a marvel fan, I am very disappointed with the addition of Thor to its collection. Hope they don't ruin Guardian of the Galaxy.

The Batman (2022)

A good movie, but doubtful if it's a good Batman movie

The Batman is a good film with its portrayal of Gotham city and its corruption. Matt Reeves does a stellar job slowly revealing the clues and breaking down the crime aspect of the story plot. However, having played all the games and read the comics, I found the movie disappointing the way the movie portrays Bruce Wayne. Even though action scenes were shot well, it felt too grounded for a Batman movie. Even though I appreciate its realism, I left the theater wanting a little more of Batman action.

The Suicide Squad (2021)

Surprisingly Entertaining

If you are a fan of Deadpool "type" superhero movies, you are absolutely going to love this one. Though 2 hours long, this movie kept me entertained the whole time. A must see and a lot better than it's predecessor.

Emma. (2020)

Enjoyable but lacks character depth

If you are like me who went into this movie without any prior knowledge of the books or previous movies you are going to find this movie pretty lackluster when it comes to character depth and arc. The story is a cliche romantic story in which Emma falls in love with an old friend of hers who always been there even through her tough times. However, the movie lacks to show the process of them developing those feelings for each other. Emma goes from an ego head to a "lost in love" kind of girl in like 20 minutes. In my opinion, even though the movie is an enjoyable one time watch, it would be a lot better with a more slow paced romantic journey.

Lucifer (2016–2021)

Was Good till Season 5 happened

Seasons 1-4 were surprisingly entertaining with clever dialogues and dry humor. However, Season 5 absolutely ruined the screenplay. Writing and storyline went downhill. Recommend Seasons 1-4 and just forget about the 5th.

Enola Holmes (2020)

A clumsy film yet enjoyable

Enola Holmes is a family movie that's very enjoyable, with its respectable cast and their top notch acting. However, it's not a movie without its two major flaws:

• Even though the little love story was sewed into the main plot, but I often found it taking huge chunks of the movie runtime. Their love story was arguably distracting and unnecessary for the movies main plot.
• Enola Holmes also falls short with their character development for character such as Sherlock Holmes and his brother. Even though the movie makes it clear that they have been maintaining a distance from their mother and sister, the story doesn't care to explain their reasons. I felt this might've have been a necessary plot to give the viewers a more understandable Enola Holmes

However, if these two flaws doesn't not bother you as a viewer, this is very well an enjoyable and pleasant film.

Cinderella (I) (2015)

A perfect remake of the original

I don't understand what people expect out a Disney remake of Cinderella. The movie sticks to the story and core ideas of the original. Cinderella was written has a fairytale story and that's exactly what the movie conveys. THIS IS A PERFECT MODERN REMAKE OF THE CLASSIC FAIRYTALE STORY CINDERELLA. And I absolutely enjoyed it.

Maleficent: Mistress of Evil (2019)

I don't understand the poor reviews. They absolutely nailed it

Watched the 1st and 2nd back to back and honesty is was a worthy sequel. Angelina Jolie absolutely nails the role and hope they make a sequel to this. All around, this is an amazing and worthy sequel. WORTH THE WATCH

Little Women (2019)

A beautiful story that used a little more time than needed

'Little women' is a beautifully narrated story adapted from a book with a cast that deserve all the praise. However, one of the flaws that seemed to bug plenty of people was the few slow paced screenplays that seemed to pull back the narration. Even though the director found his pace later in the movie, the first 45 minutes didn't help the story move any further, rather seemed like it was beating around the bush. However, don't get me wrong, the movie eventually learns to satisfy audience with a surprisingly wonderful end. If you want to enjoy this movie all you need is a little patience.

Zombieland: Double Tap (2019)

Uses the same formula to entertain

Zombieland 1 was fantastic since it uses a formula of humor with a little action to entertain. Similarly, Zombieland 2 uses the same formula to convey a similar plot. If u liked to first one, then this movie is made just for you

The Morning Show (I) (2019– )

This show is absolutely amazing with a good plot and storytelling

What are wrong with critics these days? People these days don't understand the fact that there is never a perfect show. People have different tastes and I understand if some people don't like it. But, the fact that most reviewers saying that this show doesn't have a plot seem like they have been payed to hate on it. In my opinion, this show has a really great storyline with a wonderful cast to deliver it, and please don't listen to those negative reviews. Give this show a try and I promise you, you will love it and see the potential for season two.

Aladdin (2019)

Wayyyy Underrated

In my personal experience, this movie was amazing and extremely enjoyable. Will Smith did an amazing job as the genie, and Naomi Scott was perfect for the role. Definitely can watch this a second time

2.0 (2018)

Shows potential for future movies

Is it good?Is it worth it?Are the VFX good? Well the answer is no. The hype created for this movie was unreal, but unfortunately, this movie doesn't do justice. Let's begin with the plot. 2.0 has successfully utilized a over-used cliche plot that is extremely predictable. The plot lacks character development(uses character plots from the first part),and conveyed a overly used message. Secondly, rajini's acting wasn't at its best. Rajini's costume and makeup seemed pretty off throughout the movie, which really bothered me. Thirdly, VFX isn't even close to good. Throughout the movie, there were plenty of sloppy VFX scenes that wasn't great to look at and distracted me from the main plot. Lack of good editing also ruined the flow of the movie. Lastly, I personally don't want to see Amy Jackson paired with Rajini since it's not the best thing to see on screen.
