Samaritan (2022)
I'm glad it ended
If you're looking for something cheesy, predictable and stereotypical, you're most welcome with this one.
Even the big finale is not really a surprise, no spoilers, but I'm sure you'll know (:
I understand you wanna shoot a hero movie after all DC and Marvel box office, but at least be creative, like V or Watchmen.
Good action scenes, costumes are good but the way the story unfolds is very childish for me. No dept in characters, weak background and the bad guy is just raw. Nobody knows why he is bad and doing it.
I like Stallone and his acting btw, but I think he should stick with Creed. At this age, I like it when he plays the cool and wise guy, not a hero wannabe. It's just bad career advise.
The Institute (2017)
A MUST WATCH, NOT!
A pittyful effort of look smart and surprising, comes out as a leading disorientation and regret.
I genuinely believe, Franco did this movie just to be more around half naked women. It may also be a result of beting between two buddies.
No story, no continuity, no acting, no screenplay, no music and no nothing.
Costumes are nice though...
Hitman: Agent 47 (2015)
Disappointed deeply.
As a Hit-man games series, I simply don't understand how IO Interactive lets the image of a legendary character of 47 ruined by some 2nd degree Hollywood people. Instead of trying to make him look like a hero, make him a super villain, "the bad guy" to create the real image of 47. Nowadays villains are more attractive people in action movies if you can create a good image.
And please, no more Zachary Quinto. This guy is no actor... Better casting is needed.
Still, I was smiling when I some scenes from the game series. 5/10 is because I love 47.
Cheers
