It is so unusal these days to get a movie that does not suck. This one is actually good!!! Refreshingly better than several previous ones in this series. I laughed a few times. Nice looking girls. The plot is preposterous as usual (every single knife fight could have been resolved a lot easier with a sniper rifle or even a handgun, for example), but it passes for the usual lay public. It is rare these days that I don't just start vacuuming the house while just listening to the movie. This one I actually finished in two sessions. Thanks! Who wrote this script??? Kissing after one meal? Marriage proposal seemingly in one day (movie failed to provide any cues of any time passage in this so-called relationship)? Roulette landing on same number from roll to roll? I know we have strikes every year, no need to conscript kindergarden students to write scripts. For a girl to roll with such a creep plot is unthinkable. She would have no alarm bells regarding a convertible being purchased by this dude on their 2nd day of relationship??? No explanation provided why she rolled in two hours late to the first date? Technology that overwrites user's brain function is alleged in this poor excuse for filmmaking, yet such plot device is never pursued. Everything is as bad as the "kiss my toes" nonsense. Script writer's wet dream perhaps???

Let's pretend Butterfly Effect 2 never happened.
This movie is kind of a sequel, in that it is on about the same topic, although a completely different story.
It is still too growse during murder scenes.
And there are no "revelations" of any kind here!
Watchable I guess if you close your eyes and fast forward thru murder scenes.

From the typical Netflix pile of manure of grand total selection of 10 movies for each genre, this was a rare find. Good enough for the typical populace and surprisingly well put together.
Those who anything about actual submarines will as usual laugh at the large number of technical stupidities and inaccuracies (a submarine which delays ICBM launch by one hour is pretty much useless weapon, active radar should have been used to find the rogue ICBM carrying sub, and so on).

It is EXTRAORDINARILY rude to the viewer to sit thru almost exactly two hours of a movie that has no beginning / setup (thus it has no premise), and that has no ending (thus it answers zero questions while lazily treating you to a dozen of them). That is just rude!!! Moderately captivating middle, but ruined for no beginning and no end, and no answers.
