The Accursed (2021)
1/10
Head empty.
13 October 2022
The title looks a bit promising to me. Not gonna lie but the premise of the story did make me curious and so I take my chances and watch this crap. Hope to get some good jumpscares from this movie. But no. A big no.

A small production movie and it shows. From the casting, acting, directing, and the script - I refuse to believe this such a movie is allowed to exist. Am I too harsh? But the good news is, it's definitely made it to list of so many bad movie I have ever watch. What a mess. Laughable. Ridiculous. Brutal. Painful to watch. Now you name it all, you can see the point now. I'm loss for words. Do not wasting your time for this.

Not Okay (2022)

Love-hate this movie.
10 October 2022
The movie is pure annoyance. It's have all the elements to make you hate it. I want it to end so badly the minute I'm just start to watch it. Painfully ridiculous to bear, really. The main character is so stupid and deserve all the hate, but then again, to be fair, the filmmaker did warn us about this at the beginning, but I did not listen, so yeah, okay, my bad.

But personally (and eventhough it's hard to admit) I like the ending the best. In my opinion, it is the only good thing about this movie. It's giving perspective. The filmmaker are genius for that. But no, I cannot watch this crap again.

Disappointed.

Warning: Spoilers
I really liked the first one so I couldn't help but put my expectation high for this movie. I know I shouldn't, I mean the trailer itself is already lame. Anyway, the plot is bland and inconsistent. There are so many scenes that make me frowned. Nothing makes sense. The twist given is also very unconvincing. Esther is described as less sinister, and that's really disappoints me.

Mystified.

Warning: Spoilers
The movie tells an allegory about God and Earth, typical of the director of Black Swan (2010), Darren Aronofsky, who likes to fill his films with disturbing and surrealistic elements that frustrate me so much. Nevertheless, I love his recent work with this movie.

Weirdly Philosophical.

A crime horror movie, which is the most recent work of the director of Melancholia (2011). Disturbing and gory, but weirdly philosophical. Not an ordinary psychopat movie.

Fascinating.

Norwegian supernatural thriller movie with an original premise. It is summer and it's fun, before it turns into something gruesome. Slowburn yet suspenseful. Truly fascinating.

Dreadful.

I love Lana and Cole, but this is such an awful movie. There is no chemistry at all between the two. The story seems bland and the characters are stupid. It took me two weeks just to finish the movie. I still feel annoyed for wasting my time in this.

Awful.

Horrible acting. Terrible characterization. Poor scriptwriting and dialogue. Ugly CGI. I hate that they make Leon as a comic relief. I hate that they make Claire so overpowered. Everything about this movie is just so wrong.

Not for everyone.

It's a good movie once you understand what it's all about. But the problem is, the movie won't let you. It's confusing and very weird and you'll get bored at some point, eventually. So that's it, five star.

It was kinda ok. Well, maybe.

At least it was quite scary for me. But the documentary style doesn't work at all as it intended to build suspense. And if you've watched The Wailing before and are a huge fan of it, this movie was such a let down.

Guess I'm outgrown all the fond and excitement of watching MCU movies since Endgame. But then again, maybe it was because this movie right here was painfully just bad.

Do not put your expectation too high.

I mean, basically, we all are already know the whole plot of the movie from the title. Everything was so rushed and the acting from all the cast was disappointing, even from JDM's.

Amazing.

I read the novel five years ago and it was really impressive. I'm so excited when I found out that I can watch it comes alive on my screen now. The series stay faithful to the book so you won't get anything new and surprising for the plot but the cast and their acting will blown you away. Love it.

Lame.
18 February 2021
First of all, I have watched the anime version long before the movie. To me, this live-action adaptation is painfully very bad and lousy. Gosh, it was lame. I really hate the actress who portrayed Kaori. She made it seems like Kaori was an annoying girl: a real pain-in-the-ass. Which she really wasn't. You'll know what I'm talking about if you watched the anime.

A Love Letter to a Lost Soul.

I love this kind of movie when it's make you think about life. I'm 22 and in a few days I will be 23. I feel like I didn't do anything great in my life, and that I feel like I should've but I don't know how. I'm lost on the way. But this movie remind me that you don't have to do anything great. You don't have to be somebody. You already are somebody.

Guess I'm the first and only user to write a review for this movie. Oh well, would still say that this film right here deserves to be given a chance by anyone out there. I watched it without any expectations, but it actually exceeded my expectations. Such a heartwarming story. I enjoy it with all my heart.

THAT Ending.
11 October 2020
Warning: Spoilers
I really thought I would got so much laugh from the movie because, you know, it was a comedy. Didn't expect it that the ending would be so sad.

Soulless. Bad script. The whole spoken dialogues was so bad to the point it annoyed me everytime they open their mouth. A very much ugly choreography for the fighting scene. Conclusion: Everything about this movie just seems so wrong for me.

Nevertheless, it is still worth to watch.
22 August 2020
It is a standard horror movie. The plot is basic. A found-footage film is not a new thing. The acting is so so. We all know when the jumpscare is going to come. We all know how the movie's gonna end. But nevertheless, it's still worth to watch.

Comedy that Warms Your Heart.

I love it. I really mean it. It was nice to laugh almost throughout the whole movie, but then smashed by a lot of feeling. The writing was so great. Character development was on point.

Predictable Plot.
13 July 2020
Warning: Spoilers
If you have watched "Your Name (2016)", then the plot in this film feels so predictable. A boy meets a girl, he falls in love with the girl, the girl "went missing", the boy goes "to fight with the world" to find her, he finally meets her once again only to be separated, but in the final act of the movie you'll know that they will definitely reunite once again and have a happy ending. But anyway, the visuals of the movie are pleasing to the eye. Just don't get your hopes up if you want to be mesmerized and stunned by the story.

I hate it.
3 July 2020
I think I'm just being generous by giving this movie 4 stars. In fact, everything about Aladdin is wrong. I hate the movie. The acting is so bad, including Will Smiths' acting. The movie looks like straigthly come out from Bollywood. There's zero of "magical touch". Everytime they start to sing I sighed and cringed.
