The Iceman (2012)

Very bad film miles away from the truth .

This film was obviously made just for the money it was badly cast and very badly written it strayed far from the truth and into fairyland just to try and be what they powers to be wanted the public to watch and the real story was lost in this truly load of crap .

It could have been made by some one credible who would have made it into a blockbuster instead of a dire badly made film probably written on a fag packet .

Good acting by the star doing what he could with a very bad script and badly acted by the Roy Demeo part who was about as frightening as Yogi bear .

If you disagree with my opinion please read the book and listen to Richard Kuklinsky on tape then you will see what a great picture this Could have been .

The Departed (2006)

Bad casting

There are some great actors in this film and it could have been one of the greats but there are some dodgy actors who spoil the whole thing .

DeCaprio and Nicholson carry the film but others I found were not credible at all .

Was it supposed to be a bad remake of the Goodfellows ,if so it failed ,it is unfortunate that this film was marred by the bad presence of some poor actors that made the whole atmosphere except for these two top class actors not as good as it could have been by far .

Actors who play the same type of parts all the time are a pain in the arse I think you can gat my drift from this remark .

7th Cavalry (1956)

Have the Americans no shame .

Orthough this s a very entertaining film it is about as far from the truth as possible ,their seem to be a cast of thousands at the end when it comes to the Indians .

Will they never admit Custer Lost because of his incompetence and refusal to listen to his Indian scouts and his officers because he wanted to be n the limelight .

He got his whole regiment wiped out because he split his forces and thought he was invincible,he was out classed and still the Americans try to tell us it was because the Indian tribes had better weapons and other excuses .

The guys playing the Indians in this film could hardly keep a straight face .

The American film industry should be their heads in shame at pics like this that play with history .at the time it was made it was taken as cosher but now it is seem as bit of a pantomime.

The acting is good but the storyline was a mish mash of lies and indendo .

Gangs of New York (2002)

What a load of crap a waste of many a good actor .

I think this is just rubbish it's over played and over hyped as something great yet it is simply a film with one scene after another without any perception of tome or place .

Whoever the director was let's hope he does not do many more it is just a spectacular over shown show piece .

I could not watch after the first half an hour and think it is made for children who no know better than to be feed with this over blown crap What a waste of a multitude of first rare talent in this abismale rubbish .

Why do we have to go to 6 hundred characters is it because you do nit really want an opinion I see no reason for this at all and will not submit anymore reviews in the future because of this stupid rule made I am sure by some office dweller living in the comfort of cloud cuckoo land in isolation and I can see why.

The Big Operator (1959)

Mickey Rooney plays a geat part in a film that is so bad it is laughable .

The acting is so bad and i do not dought it is because the script was written on a fag packet .they stick two plasters on a guys eyes but do not tie him up at all and they take him home still witheyes covered over a long distance away only for him to remember the way back .

Such a pity about this film it had some great ok old actors trying to make the best if it and Mamie Van Doren looking lost .

Its all about the hard done by workers but the lead guys house is funished so well i thought he must own the factory not ve jyst a worker i watched it till the end as a tribute to the kate great Mickey Rooney RIP mate .

The Shape of Water (2017)

I am not into science fiction but this film is great its well acted and has a story that is easy to follow .

The lead artist is just one of the best actresses of our day .

I will be watching out for her in the future in all she does and the other cast were really on the ball , a great film to watch .

The only film with Heston ican watch if only he was a tenth as good an actor as he thought he was he mighr have been good . plenty of other very good actors in this film who went on to even greater films . Bruce Dern & Donald Pleasance just to mention two .

A good action film complety spoilt by over baring music playing over the soeach which seems to be the in thing now and spoiling the tension af the action trying to make us believe we are so stupid we do not know what is accuring . very good acting and a good cast .its such a shame that like many others these films are not vetted by people with the viewers in mind instead of the gate reciepts .

The Bone Collector (1999)

Good story line but rediculas format a young rooky cop over rides her detectives buddies who are portrade as so thick that the need a guy who cannot move to solve a difficult case its just made for effect . the acting is great but the stoty is just so unbelievable what a shame to good actors waisting their time with a dud story line while other actors have to just stand about .

What a waste of acting talent its just crass . it would never happen in real life which is where it dalks down completly . a mega cast with nothing to do no proper story and just waiting to escape this rubbish.

Freddy was still entertaining in the 1980s-90s so a lot of drivel has been mentioned about him here he made this film because he was an entertIner that was his job

Freddy was still in entertaining in the 1980s-90s he made ghis film because it was was he did ; all entertainers made Lulus and should not be judged on these things alone . i think he did the best job he could with script he had to work with ,if it did not work i do not think it was because of his effort to suceed

Major Dundee (1965)

A great chance missed

Great cast but so sad it a led by the wooden acting of Heston who spends so much time trying to look tough that as usual for him he tries to take over the whole film.The rest of the cast are very under used . Such a shame for Sam the great director it's not a patch on the Wild bunch but then what is . Still worth a look if you try to forget Heston and his posing instead of acting .
