Radioactive (2019)
I liked it
Marie Curie's actual story is fascinating! This is a great movie to get you interested in learning about her. Like all movies it differs from her real life in some minor ways (based on her Wikipedia page, which I understand may also not be the best source). The on set chemistry of Marie and Pierre was very believable. This movie could have be a 10/10 but there are some things that take away from it. Overall the movie feels very drab. Certain parts seem to drag a bit. Linking Marie's work to Chernobyl and the atomic bomb seems a little bit of a stretch. Overall I like the movie. The cast did a great job and I'm glad I watched it.
You (2018)
Season 1&2 not bad
Overall I enjoyed watching this show. Some parts of the plot (especially season 3) are not very realistic, but I found it suspenseful and wanted to keep watching.
American Auto (2021)
Nothing new
There are a few funny parts. Many of the story lines seem to be taken from other shows. In Episode 1 the car can only see light skinned people which is a plot line from Better Off Ted. In episode 3 the CEO stalls to make a big announcement which is from The Office. Some parts are funny so I'll watch a few more episodes.
Accused: Guilty or Innocent? (2020)
Interesting perspective
Most shows are not shown from the perspective of the accused person, which makes this very interesting. I have not agreed with all the verdicts. I think it is important to show that not everything is black and white. In real life not every verdict is the correct one.
Bridgerton (2020)
Don't watch if you want historical accuracy
I feel this is a decent series but maybe not an excellent one. I never felt that this series intended to be historically accurate so that part didn't bother me. It started out a little slow but I did grow to like the characters. The storyline is sometimes a little far fetched but entertaining. If you're looking for a show that you can analyze and think deeply about, this is not the show for you. If you're looking for something fun and a little different, check it out.
