Black Panther (2018)
Ok
Not the best film of this genre. Best bits were the editing, CGI and soundtrack
The Love Guru (2008)
Train wreck
The writing and acting were poorly done. Jokes were simply not funny and offensive.
Requiem for a Dream (2000)
Magnificent
Leto and Wayans are a great force together in what is a tragic portrayal of junkie life and its social impacts. This isnt for the squeamish.
A Beautiful Mind (2001)
Crowe did ok
The film isn't without its flaws. Working with schizophrenic patients I do feel that part of the character could have been better executed
Pulp Fiction (1994)
Modern classic
Jackson, Thurman and travolta deliver in this gritty, comedic and stylish classic. Wasn't perfect in terms of the storyline but you do put that aside
The Godfather (1972)
Good for its time
I didn't grow up then but in the modern era having now watched this film it's no 10. The acting is overdone and the multiple characters dropping like flies makes it hard to keep up.
Memento (2000)
Fine work
Great stuff to the director and Pearce for pulling off an unconventional story telling approach that fits with the narrative
Deadwood (2004)
Tv classic
This series pioneered gritty western TV series. It has all the sex, violence and drama you could want from a modern adult series. Could have gone on longer. See it if you haven't
Operation Dumbo Drop (1995)
Funny
It had its moments but very cheesy dialogue. Looking forward to the upcoming dumbo
Bohemian Rhapsody (2018)
Well deserved
This film deserves all the accolades it received and more. Love Freddy Mercury and love Ramy Malek
Once Were Warriors (1994)
Acting was bad but story was amazing
My title says it all. The actors seemed amateur apart from the two leads. Very gritty and tragic storyline that will maintain your interest
Salem (2014)
Great
This show didn't get nearly enough publicity. I find it really eerie. The lead does a great job. Worth a binge watch
Queen of the Damned (2002)
Not the worst
Not the worst vampire horror film. Definitely some shoddy acting but I loved the soundtrack and Aaliyah was amazing (RIP)
