Saved by the Bell (1989)
Re-runs never get old!!!
I must say that this show was and always be one of the greatest shows ever to exist on television. Saved by the Bell is still as great now as it was 8+ years ago. I must say that I have seen every episode of this show at least 5 times. I am now 20 years old, a professional athlete, and a successful business man, and I still find myself up every morning at 7:00am watching the back-to-back episodes of Saved by the Bell on TBS. Its even sad to say that I also enjoyed watching the College Years. Weather its the junior high, high school, or college years you can guarantee I will be watching. The New Class was a dissapointment and should have never been made. I am asking E/I (the old producers) to please release a DVD collection of the series. Although some of the actors on the show went on to do some very forgetable roles they will always be remembered as those Bayside High kid we all grew up with. Weather it was Zach trying a new scheme, Screech following along, or the rest of the gang laughing as they helped ruin Zach's new idea, we were all there watching. Now there were some things that were never explained, like how the Junior High years were in Indiana and the High School years were in Cali, we didn't care we still watched. All and All this was the best show in the world...and still is!!!
Not Another Teen Movie (2001)
Finally I agree w/The Critics (Worst Film of the Year)
Not Another Teen Movie was one of the worst films I have ever seen (Not as bad as Santa With Muscles or Battlefield Earth, but close). When ever I see that the critics hated the movie, I tend to enjoy the film. This was not the case. After an entertaining and humorous beginning (about 1st 5 mins. of the movie) the movie takes a nose dive. If this was a 90 min movie, 80 mins of it was a complete waste of time. On a scale of 1-10, I give this film a 2, and thats being nice. Do not waste 8 dollars to see this movie, or even 3 when it comes out for rent. Wait until it hits cable, then turn the channel.
The One and Only (1978)
One of the best professional wrestling films period.
The One and only was a great film. I had just finished viewing it on EncoreW on DirecTV. I am an independent professional wrestler, and I thought this was a good portray of what life is like as a professional wrestler. Now this film was made 4 years before I was born, but I don't think the rigors of professional wrestling traveling has changed all that much. Sad, funny, and all around GREAT!!! **** 10+
