Jack of All Trades (2000)
Just about the wittiest thing ever.
At first I couldn't stand this. But then one day, for some reason, I watched an episode. I found myself enjoying possibly the best program made ever. The comical banter between the two main characters Jack (Campbell) and Emilia (Dotchin) is perfectly laden with innuendo. Sure this relies on bending history for plot lines and uses the most rediculous of stereotypes for characters (the French are superbly played up), but I can sit for 30 minutes a week now with a silly grin on my face and enjoy. At that, folks, it pure entertainment.
Dancer in the Dark (2000)
Truly truly awful!
Dancer In The Dark, winner of awards and loved by many critics is the single most biggest pile of rubbish that I've had the misfortune to see at the cinema. It really is bad. Hideously acted with all predictable plot lines. As much as I love Björk's singing voice the singy-dancy bits didn't seem to work for me. (and by Christ, if you don't like her singing then don't go anywhere near this film!)
There's no need to make a song and dance about it (and don't do it again missy!) (gnnn... must resist jörking off related gags!)
