Devdas (I) (2002)

perhaps the best bollywood movie ever made
14 July 2002
I just watched the film and I feel compelled to write about it. This has to be the best bollywood film ever made and has certainly raised the standards. The cinematography was brilliant as were the performances from Madhuri & Ashwariya. But one thing that stands above all is the performance by Shahrukh Khan. No wonder he's regarded the best actor of his era. A performance like this could not even have been matched by the great Amitabh Bachan. Watch it sweep all the awards and another one to add to Shahrukh's huge pile.

I've Been Waiting for You (1998 TV Movie)

An ambitious attempt but not bad though

This movie is reasonably good but I guess the director was trying too hard to scare the wits out of people. This film wouldn't scare you if you were watching it in the middle of a graveyard all alone at midnight. Anyways, the plot wasn't all that hard to swallow and it's a well made film overall. 7/10.

Ummm.....Not Bad!

A decent movie although I slept through most of it. A cop gets killed while investigating disturbance somewhere and two guyies confess for the crime. Doesn't happen too often so it leaves the detectives in a dilemma. Well worth watching.

Ridiculous Film

This is a totally absurd movie with stupid fighting scenes and poor script. The characters lack characterization and the director lacks brains. Remember not to bother watching it. You have been warned. 4/10 from me.

Disappointed!!!

I've always been a big fan of movies where the Earth is at stake and that was the reason I watched this film. The plot was good and it started pretty well but half way through the plot begins to creak and the dialogues begin to croak. Although we do see the americans and the russians firing nuclear missiles at the meteor rather than each other (for a change). The effects looked as real as the lochness monster. If u want to watch astronomical fiction then I'd recommend Deep Impact or Armageddon.
