The Negotiator (1998)
One of the Best
This movie is one of the best thriller ever. From beginning to end, every minute and every second, I was glued to the chair and couldn't move an inch. WONDERFUL MOVIE!!! A MUST SEE!!!
Losing Isaiah (1995)
Great Movie
The mood this movie creates is wonderful. I literally cried for this movie. I'm not someone who cries often, especially not because of movies, but this one moves me. Seeing both side of family love the boy so much. What pain it must be for them to lose him to someone else. Great plot and great cast, too, except for the father.
The Matrix (1999)
Okay movie with great actions
This movie has some of the best action scenes ever made in movie history, yet the conversations in it are killing us. The Matrix started off pretty powerful. The way she knocked those guys over was a brilliant scene, but the plot slows down after that. Every action was slow and the direction to shoot the conversations were boring. We just see 2 people on screen keep talking to each other without good music, humor, or others to accompany them. The movie was about 150 minutes long. I only enjoyed about 50 minutes of it, when the actions took place. I saw the making of the Matrix and expected a good action film. I must say I was disappointed by the result yet still impressed with what they've done for the action parts. Maybe it's because the actions are directed by Chinese people they hired from Asia.
Tenacious D (1997)
Bad looks, okay songs, okay lyrics, nice voices
I can't quite seem to get the jokes they think that are funny. Maybe it is because I don't have the sense of humor like everybody else does. However, I'm kind of into music myself. I must agree on their voices. The tenor K.G.'s voice mixes perfectly with J.B.'s. They might not look good nor sound good alone, but their duet rocks the world. (The guy J.B. actually looks like Zach, one of my classmates in psychology who is THE most repulsive, obnoxious, lousy, miserable, annoying bummer I have ever met in my entire life.)
Bram Stoker's Dracula (1992)
One of the BEST movies made
It is a classic romantic horror. The history of Dracula and Mina is the key to all the events. I like the way the directer shoots the scenes, especially how 2 things go on at the same time. (Dracula killing Lucy/Mina getting married) Their love is expressed beautifully in this film.
Winona Ryder is the perfect actress to play Mina because there is not one single place on her that you can disagree on. Her class is wonderful and all. I like the ending, too.
Wonderful movie! A must-see! I really can't describe how much I love this movie by words! See it yourself!
The Heat Is On (1989)
Great Musical!
Wow! I was quite impressed when I found out that Lea Salonga was only 19 when she recorded Miss Saigon. It was a masterpiece. Although it wasn't as famous as Phantom of the Opera, I think they are about the same quality. Very nice musical!
Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery (1997)
Worst movie I've ever seen
I don't know what happened to the other voters, but this is the worst movie I've ever seen in my life. It's boring, stupid, and not funny at all. The only good thing about the movie is the girls in it.
Dracula: Dead and Loving It (1995)
Funny!
I love this movie. It is one of the funniest movies I've ever seen and obviously the best movie of Mel Brooks. It's funny and creative. Although Mina could be played by a prettier actress, Lucy was shining in the film. Great cast!
Bride of Chucky (1998)
Nice Movie
I was quite impressed by the movie. Jennifer Tilly did a great job in it. Her voice is so sexy it could light up fire. The whole movie was great, especially the sex scene and the ending.
Sphere (1998)
Great Movie
Maybe it is because I've never read the novel before, this movie glued me in the sofa for 2 hours. I think it is wonderful. Except that it gave me a horrible nightmare afterwards.
The Devil's Advocate (1997)
Best Movie I've Ever Seen
It is the best movie I have ever seen in my entire life. Keanu Reeves' charm, Al Pacino's theories, Charlize Theron's smiles, plus the other beauty's body. Wonderful combination.
