For a Few Dollars More (1965)

Doesn´t get better than this !!

This is the best of the "Man with No Name Trilogy " , and also one of the best Clint Eastwood Westerns . The plot moves very smoothly and the characters are all very well portrayed . This movie also marks the role that made Lee Van Cleef a star . The music by Ennio Morriconne is very inspiring and adds a lot to the movie . Please try to remember that the budget was not very high , so some producing errors can be noted .

Although the movie has a well written plot , the hat goes off to the acting. I mean Charles Laughton really shines with his great rola as Captain Bligh. Also Clark Gable gives a very good characterization of Bligh´s Nemesis.

Destined to become a classic in its genre, DUMB & DUMBER reaches its objective of making people laugh off their seats, in a film that crowns Carrey as the modern Lewis & gives Daniels a great chance to show us his lighter side. This is the kind of movie you want to see 100 times, with pranks & puns so silly you love to hate! high moments are Daniel`s bout with the toilet, the parakeet incident, and Jim Carrey`s love declaration to a schoolboy. If U R not silly and have no sense of humor, and basically are not alive , don`t watch this movie...otherwise, rent the video, order some pizza & beer and prepare for 1999: Dumb & Dumber (The early years) Two fingers up

Armageddon (1998)

Earth´s Last Resource .

Although is a good movie, there were some scenes that diminish the work of women in some way; for example the character of col. Watts was very under-used, why didn´t she enter the draw to see who remained on the asteroid?; why couldn´t she, with all her knowledge, fix the departing shuttle and some guy who started hitting it could?; I think america, and NASA, prepares women to perform better than that. Anyway, the direction was good, the F/X astonishing and the action was a bit more intense than its clone DEEP IMPACT.

Great Actors,Great Movie

There is something special, a feeling that evolves you the first time you here the song that performs Frankie Laine ( Gunfright at O.K. Corral , Man Without a Star etc. ), the story is rather simple but very well executed, but the high note in this movie is for the actors . Glenn Ford depicts a strange character, he is supposed to be a villain but undergoes a lot of important changes that make you sympathize with him; Van Heflin is at what he does best, westerns, his unforgettable role in Shane is now enhanced by the character here, a man that is above everything for a thing so simple and sometimes so hard to do, the call of duty .

Hard Rain (1998)

Sure has a lot of water .

This film was like seeing the ending part of Titanic , only this one took about two hours ; any way the action was there and the surprising ending was there too . I get kinda amazed whenever I see the changes that undergo the characters ; I mean , Randy Quiaid had one hell of a performance. Overall is a good movie , maybe a little long , but good .

Stand by Me (1986)

Brought back a lot of memories .

It´s Amazing how one movie can make you travel back in time , I was about 22 years old when I first saw the film , but I have not seen any other that captures the motivations and ideas like the ones I had when I was their age . For example I was always intrigued about the fact if Goofy was a dog or what !!!!???? Just Great , a commendation for director Rob Reiner .
