Do not believe the cover
27 April 2011
An excellent setup, nice idea but completely wasted in bad acting, bad directing and scripting.

You know, if you are going to make a sexy horror movie you have to go all the way. I mean, why selling sex with the cover, why select the players so obviously by their looks, if you are not going to show a thing.

On the other hand maybe you could have pull it off as a more serious horror movie with better actors. But not showing the sex scenes between the characters, specially the lesbian scene, is not having any sense of business at all.

In the end, be clear of what kind of movie you want to make and try to make the better movie you can of the genre...

Such a waste...

The Guardian (1990)
Maybe as an erotic thriller...
17 September 2003
This movie is full of moments, but is not a great movie. The cast does a good job, but the script is not of any help. Too many loose ends, several silly situations, some that were supposed to fright us. Some interesting special effects. Nothing more... Given the attractiveness of both female leads perhaps it would work better as an erotic thriller

Fantasy Island (1998–1999)
A very welcome change
6 November 1998
The new look of the series is welcome, as is Malcolm McDowell as the new Mr. Roarke. More mysterious and dark than the original. And with more liberty, of course, thanks to the digital effects of the 90's. I think I'll look forward for the rest of the episodes...

Killing Time (1998)
Slow paced, fill with plot holes.
28 October 1998
The promise of the trailer faded away by the dullness of the film. This is an example of how to kill a great idea. Slow paced, lots of useless dialogs and plot holes makes you use the fast-forward button.

Stylish view of a repressive future
5 August 1998
The idea of using the genetic code of a person as the ultimate segregation tool is fascinating. As is the way that the story is told, focusing more in the characters and using the sci-fi world as a backdrop where they develop. Although a little bit slow at times the impressive set decorations and cinematography, the superb musical score, and a great casting work along with well done acting makes this movie a must see.

Play Time (1995)
Sexy, funny movie about two couples that find joy in voyeurism
5 August 1998
Not a masterpiece, this movie is quite entertaining and funny with acceptable performances from the actors and actresses. But, as is usual with movies of this genere, with a script that is nothing more than an excuse for the quite good sex scenes. Low production values (It's a low budget direct to video release afterall). Nice tempo and photography. And of course beautiful women. If you're looking for some entertaining non hardcore erotic movie I certainly recommend this one.
