Touches on a lot aspects of current family in China

The beginning of the series reared its ugly head of spoilt child problems in the family. But towards the end family relationship prevail. Moving and entertaining enough.

Exceptional story writting, wonderful acting and definitely underrated rating

When I first started watching this series, I could see it was progressing at a slow pace. The narratives were built and impatience creeps in as bad happenings keep on piling up but fortunately, the mixture of good and bad daily happenings of a family's life prevail and describe an interesting story. I was expecting a different outcome through out but thankfully the drama had a surprise for me every 2 episodes. It does show the everyday life of a Chinese senior and how important family is, whatever is left of it. Similarly, you can chose your friends and coworkers but family is always permanent. This all made it possible to really enjoy this every so beautifully depiction of family life. It is wonderful combination of all emotions.. jealousy, pride, happiness, sadness, guilt, regret, greed, friendliness, empathy, sympathy, anger, shame, love and what not! Definitely recommended!
