I thoroughly enjoyed every scene in the movie. The movie unravels itself in flashback sequences during the first half with Vikas and Uday stealing the show. The plot quickens in the latter half supported by excellent performances from all actors. The climax takes you by surprise. Story telling is crisp and good editing keeps the movie going at the right pace.
Vikas delivers action, comedy and sentimental scenes perfectly. Sindhu gives a good performance. Loki transitions into Jayanna's role very well in the second half. Uday & Dharmanna are top class!
The movie is unlike the run of the mill ghost/horror movies which use jump scares and macabre makeup. It instead delivers a complete entertainer with fantasy, romance, action, emotions and twists in the plot. Kudos to the makers & artists involved.
There's a lot to enjoy in the film for the whole family!

Frankly speaking I am fond of realistic and logical movies. So may be some regional movies will miss out from my radius. But definately this movie has satisfied me in all levels. Be it acting by Vikas, emotions by Sindhu, comedy by Dharmanna, theeka roles by RaghavUday and Bhajrangi Loki etc. Simpler to simpler roles are managed very well and super experienced actors are involved like Achyuth kumar and Vinaya Prasad. Amazing direction by Raj. Not a single time you could take out your eyes from the screen. Songs are amazing and the location they have captured is super natural. I would definitely recommend you all to watch this movie.
A fantasy movie worth the watch

The movie title brings to mind the peppy song of the same name. It is a very jovial and catchy song that is hard to get out of the mind. It wouldn't be far-fetched to say that the movie echoes these admirable traits of the song as well. It is light-hearted and fun and certainly an enjoyable watch. Another aspect of the song that the movie shares is the underlying hard-hitting message that peeks out from underneath the facade of comedy just like the sun peeks out from behind the clouds.
Firstly, the foundational concept of the story is something that is different from the usual commercial fare and yet also not so novel and unheard of that audiences may find it hard to relate or understand to the characters on screen. The pace of the movie is set at a comfortable rate, crisp enough to avoid monotony. Due to the very nature of the plotline, the balance of the screenplay threatened to go off-kilter in certain places but they were well-put together and didn't appear overbearing.
The dialogues were well-written and concise, reflective of the storyline. Each actor's performance was apt for the story. Would've liked to add special mentions but it would be unfair as all the actors with significant roles did a great job. The song sequences had admirably picturesque scenery to enhance their aesthetics.
The typical love story was presented through this narrative with a brave attempt to transcend beyond the other portrayals by having Rummy come back as a ghost to protect the girl he loves. The roles of the comedic Dharma, villainous Jayanna and comedic as well as villainous Guruji ("Mayambara!") added ample support to the story and were indeed memorable additions to the storyline. All in all, it is a well-made family entertainer that is definitely worth the watch. Kudos to the team!

This movie is one of a kind which can be watched with parents, friends, kids.... It appeals to everyone. The movie is backed by a good story and awesome comedy in the second half. Its a movie which will leave you with a smile. Must watch!!

I was totally amazed to see such a nice movie after a long time . One who watches the movie becomes mesmerized with the visuals and graphics . The narration of the story is different and refreshing. The director had done a great job. This team's dedication and hardwork is clearly visible as the movie is done so crisply with not a single dull moment in the movie. The story has twists and an unexpected climax . It has comedy, emotion , action,graphics . Music and the songs are also very melodious. All the characters in the film have done fantastic job especially Vikas , Dharmanna ,Sindhu and Loki.I wish more such movies are made in the kannada film industry .Thank you Kaanadante Mayavadanu team for giving us such a good film.
Entertaining watch

I went in expecting to watch a typical movie with the family but what followed was an awesome entertainer. The story is great but the acting and screenplay are just amazing. It's refreshing to see new faces trying something new instead of the same old stories that are getting repeated. Would recommend this movie to anyone.
