Kind of a rough season this one, and with the promo's/hype of the finale I was hoping to just be cranky about why they didn't do THIS sooner(because the hype was that this was supposed to be pretty much 1 season in 1 episode, and I've commented before this season, on how things just didn't seem to be going anywhere, so I was hoping to be compensated tonight).
But even this episode lacked 1 serious ingredient........ a straight up hero, where season 1 had ideals, vision, and people that stepped-up, this season inches back, and forth, back, and forth, without going anywhere, and sadly I kinda felt like that this episode too, any, and all progress in 'the battle' was because it was inevitable, and the absolute minimum happened to progress the story, and that's just not very heroic. Which makes me sad, because after Legion, this show had the potential to break-away from just being a formula-/comic-style show, but this season just didn't do anything to break-away, and I really don't get it, because it would've been very easy to make the characters more individual, it wouldn't even have changed all that much to the story-arc to just allow certain heroes, to make actual heroic choices.
Anyway, I'm not sure this Finale was enough to convince the Network to have a season 3, it just made me sad.
