As is common whilst under the control of the Netflix overlords, I am certain this special popped up because I recently watched Colleen/Miranda's episode of "Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee" where she opines with Jerry "what happens when Miranda gets pregnant?" Well, apparently Netflix had so little faith in my patience that it felt the need to show me, without delay, exactly what would happen.
Now, I have never seen Miranda's YouTube channel, and I lasted a whole minute through "Haters Back Off." So I guess I just don't "get" her thing. However, I was impressed by the number of young girls in the audience who clearly find her quirky, weirdness relate-able and comforting. So for that, I say good for her.

For starter, I am commenting as a non Miranda Sings fan, and I'll admit I never heard of her before this. It's too exclusive, from what I saw people need to really LOVE Miranda Sings to get this whole show, which for a standup comedy it's not ideal. However, the only reason I think this Netflix special worth a 7 is that the way that Colleen presented the materials are rather a new area for standup comics to explore.
She's still trying, huh?

I vaguely remember Colleen (Miranda) doing MS when I was a kid. I wasn't totally into her "quirky white girl" schtick. Haters Back Off, a show centered on the fictional life of Miranda was made as well as this atrocious live performance.
The crowd, filled with kids and parents, were dead quiet during Colleen's stand-up (which was actually pretty entertaining) and then all the kids in the crowd screeched their pre-teen faces off when this lipstick-ridden red-pants wearing nutcase walks on screen.
Her character was always fascinating in the dumbest way possible. I couldn't stand her, but I couldn't stop watching. It was just a complete trainwreck if the train had severe ADHD.
They'll just give anyone a special, won't they?

She is a very funny person and has a lot of good jokes. The special shows how idiotic haters are and how people shouldn't care about the idiots who troll online. Funniest thing I've seen for a long time. Sure it was a little bit excessive with the Virgin Mary bit but I think she is very underrated and has humour for almost all the family. Fast-Paced and easy laughed at, it stands separate from Haters Back Off! Though it needed a sense of understanding and relatability, this is one of my favourite Netflix stand-up specials so far. She is an awesome person and gives life lessons about acceptance.

I have been watching Miranda Sings since the beginning so you may have to understand her character and humor to find this funny. She is hilarious and I couldn't stop laughing the whole time watching this. Great job Colleen!

The show was boring the Miranda I watch on YouTube isn't the Miranda I saw on (you're welcome) maybe she was nervous cause it was her first Netflix special or maybe she's nervous because she performed on the Kennedy center or maybe because there were a lot of people on the audience , I don't know but I know two things :
1-the show was terrible (no offense)
2-any person above 9 and enjoyed show go see a therapist cause there's something wrong with you (no offense)

Miranda may have lost her most excellent show "Haters Back Off" but she shines even more brilliant on stage. Colleen Ballinger is a gold mine of talent.
I greatly enjoyed this live recording made at the Kennedy Center. Go Miranda go! I only wish I could have seen it live.

The main aspect of this Netflix special is that Colleen Ballinger wrote it for her fans!!! They're the ones that are going to get the inside jokes, sing along to the songs, and appreciate the genius behind the character Miranda. Anyone with negativity towards this special wasn't open minded enough to gain any little nuggets of amazingness. I feel that even people who aren't fans could still find something enjoyable from the show or at-least realize how much effort Colleen goes into for her tour. Her singing is beautiful bottom line. She deserves more praise for putting this on Netflix for her fans who couldn't see the tour to get to enjoy the show fully. We love you Colleen!!! You did a great job!

I love colleen and I'm so proud of her and how far she has come. This character of hers makes me laugh so loud and it's something I can share with my daughter who also loves her. A lot of people may not understand but this show was meant for her fans. It's so funny and well put together. Great job!!

I've been watching Colleen/Miranda for some time now, seeing this live show made me laugh for quite a while. But you need to UNDERSTAD that this special is about youtube character and if you don't know Miranda's humor and backstory maybe you should skip this special. It's really cool to see how hard work pays back.

I ended up seeing this because of my two daughters watching it, but it was so hilarious I've now seen it about a dozen times!! This woman is freaking awesome, she completely changes in everyway possible when she goes from one to the other, its so strange to watch such a beautiful woman go to "Miranda" in about 2mins flat like she does!! But either way the shows great and freaking hilarious so watch it, its not just for kids JS!!

This special is not for the regular viewer. If you have an appreciation of niche humor, an interest in YouTube, and you know who Miranda Sings is, you'll love this show. There's no way around it: Colleen Ballinger has put ten years and too many pounds of lipstick into this show, and it's magical. The audience loves her unconditionally, and she has made Miranda grow out of such meager beginnings. The culmination of Ballinger's body of work results in a farcical play of original songs, audience interaction including adults and children, spectacle of adorably childlike set design and costuming, and story telling that delves into the personal life of the creator herself.
The thing I gravitate toward the most and which I wish to see more of is Colleen's talents and abilities as a singer and actress. It's very much a Janus head with focus put mostly in the side of chaos and darkness, but it's always refreshing to see Colleen being herself (or at least a version of herself she's comfortable sharing). There will of course be people who fault this show for being juvenile, and those will miss the point that that is who this character is: a ridiculous, unapologetic adult-child a la Peewee Herman. Miranda is completely built out of ego, and results in tasteless comments that are offensive only when you forget that the content is coming from an imbecile. She turns every expectation of what "good" is and what "talent" is into their heads and stomps on them, making enough political and adult humor to satisfy the groaning parents in the audience. A difficult thing to accomplish, especially given the niche market to which Miranda caters. Soldier on, Miss Sings. You're doing amazing, sweetie.

I loved this special! It was so funny, well written, and Colleen/Miranda really gives it her all! She's a wonderful actress. She deserves every bit of Fame that comes to her, even if it comes in the form of a character "everyone hates" as Colleen herself puts it. Not everyone will understand Miranda's humor, but for those who do are in the best hour of their Netflixing experience. I see a bright future for this talented actress.

BEST SHOW EVER! I CANT WAIT TO WATCH IT AGAIN! This movie was amazing from start to end Miranda sings and Colleen Ballinger are soooo amazing and I loved this live show and I can not wait to watch it again it's my new favorite show

Growing up knowing of Miranda Sings, it is definitely strange content that was put onto YouTube; but, I think that was the point. Colleen he so many talents, one of them...loving to sing. You will see her EXCEPTIONAL talent throughout this special. Planning a show is difficult because it's needs to flow, and her show flowed effortlessly. With her planning this show pre-pregnancy, and having a rough pregnancy, to do as well as she did...I'm SHOCKED! The humor that Colleen provides for the parents, and Miranda for the kids, with some innuendos for the older generation and adolescent jokes for the younger crowd, it was an exceptional show full of creativity, fun, childhood memories and wonderful talent!
