Warning: Spoilers
Didn't think I'd like an episode with a character so pure and good as Superboy. Nice surprise though,

The birth of Superboy, some of its best writing
Holt34412 October 2019
The birth of Superboy and his faithful companion Krypto, this was amazing episode with superb writing and acting. The visuals and fighting moves are so well done, really giving us the powers from the comic books and its sight will make you fan boy a little bit. The episode plays out like a standalone episode as it doesn't start up where we left off in the previous episode and that's a bad and a good thing, whilst the bad thing is that we left on a cliffhanger but the good thing is that we get to finally see Superboy and his life after the cameo where he broke out of Cadmus and what we see on his road towards finding out who he is, its storytelling is stunning with some great and recognized side characters and the performance of Genevieve Angelson as Dr Eve Watson is really good and so is Joshua Orpin, he portrays the character in such a great and realistic way and he was one of the highlights of the episode. The character development for Conner is some of the shows best writing.

There is usually one or two things that was quite bad but this episode had no lows, it was superb episode thanks to the high quality writing and acting. The series writers really know how to make these standalone backstory episodes, this was by far an amazing experience and one of the shows best episodes.

This episode was amazing! DC needs to do a spinoff of just Superboy and Krypto adventures. It could be a hit TV series!

SUPERBOY

Warning: Spoilers
This episode finally shows us what happened with Superboy after Titans season 1 post credit scene. He escapes sees the world for the first time.

This episode portrays Conner in a great way, wanting to always help. But not knowing who he is, he then has memories of both Superman and Lex Luthor. Which makes him more conflicted on who he is.

We also see him use his powers which was cool, Krypto also gets in on the action.

Finally we see Conner save Jason from his fall, after that Conner is then shot and Krypto is taken.

All in all a really good episode. A whole episode devoted to Conner and who he is. Now his story will tie into the Titans story. I can't wait to see him introduce with the other characters of the team.

An episode with alot of character

Warning: Spoilers
I can't believe how well done this episode was it almost felt like i was watching a movie. From the cinematography , the writing and even the acting. We have an episode packed with action and character development for the shows best origin story yet. The chemistry between Conner and Krypto, the meeting with Lionel Luther at the farm and the constant morale debate of good versus bad in the episode gave this episode a lot of character.

Whoa! What an Episode!
skip-9875614 October 2019
One of the best episodes in the series, just outstanding plot, acting and action scenes! I wont spoil it by spilling superboys origins but its wild and different than what I thought.. Once he starts to use his abilities, the unleashing of which was jaw dropping and really awesome to behold..Just wow!..Such great effects work for a lower budget production, really ,Really good! the characters they have been adding into this stellar series are just knocking it out of the park..the Deathstroke episode as well with wondergirl and aqualad, Man that was both beautiful And intense! This new series stands above Anything else out there and sets a new and very high benchmark...we can only hope any other series even come close to this masterpiece of superhero television.

The secret origin of Superboy
paultapner13 January 2020
Warning: Spoilers
Where has that person we saw in the post credits scene of the season one finale been? You're about to find out.

Anyone who knows their DC continuity and saw the title of this episode will have known how the cliffhanger from part five would be resolved. But first we find out what happened between that scene at the end of that season finale and now.

A young man and his dog are out in the world. And he has no idea who he is. He has visions of an abusive father, and a beautiful cornfield.

Project Cadmus and it's backer want him back. Can the lady behind his creation help him find out who he is?

Joshua Orpin is just so good in the Conner role from the off, with the right mix of innocence, naivete, and bottled up rage that he gets from the Luthor part of his dna. And yet he has the intense desire to help as well, from the Superman side. It's a commanding and compelling performance.

Ditto from the lady playing Dr. Eve, who created him. As she faces up to what she's done, and imparts moral lessons to Conner on the way.

There's a great moral to this one, and it hits you just as it should, and leaves you thinking about it. And even though the resolution does play out as you would have expected, what happens next will leave you gasping for breath and desperate for the next part.

A terrific bit of tv. Well worth ten stars. Especially for Krypto's version of catch...

Best episode yet

Excellent introduction of Superboy and Krypto to Titans. Great story. Interesting and very watchable character. I could watch a few episodes just with these two in. A series could be good but I think they'd ruin a good thing. Anyway Titans Season 2 Episode 6, I salute you.

Now it's Titans.

Warning: Spoilers
Finally Superboy is in and as I have written in my review of previous episode that Superboy will be the exact saviour of New Robin and it happened. But the one mistake I found in this episode is when bullets were shot at Conner in Luthor's house, why his shirt was not damaged is that was also genetically modified. Second if that time he was not hurt by bullets why in the ending. Otherwise it was a good episode.

Lots of action, lots of canine glowing eyes, they gave us all the goodies. Best episode of the season. Aside from seeing super boys super backside *wink* making this a highlight of the episode we get to see some canine action too that made me laugh harder than a clown on helium could. Can't wait to see what they have for us next. Hopefully they bring in Lex and Superman for an awkward double dad moment.

The season's best episode, but still suffering from many problems.
EddyTheMartian00711 October 2019
Warning: Spoilers
After Episode 3 of this season I was very hopeful for the future. Unfortunately the last 2 episodes both disappointed with some very bad choices. For example how badly they handled Garth's death in Episode 4, then how Dr. Light was wasted, and how Episode 5 ended with a really silly battle, among Its usually problems. However I'm glad to say this was a good episode. Now it wasn't great. There's still some issues with the episodes as a whole. For one I have to say that I really enjoyed the scenes with Superboy. Joshua Orpin does a really good job as the naive clone. I really enjoyed his scenes, and they were some of the most entertaining parts from this show so far. I even though there was some genuinely good writing here and there for once. However apart from that this episode still has a lot of problems. The editing is still just not well done. I can't say how annoying it is that the editing literally ruins what look like good moments, but I've come to expect it with every episode of Titans. Apart from Joshua Orpin most of the other actors were just not very good. The entire Cadmus section of the episode was just not well done. The episode as whole is extremely convenient too. I mean after Conner escapes Cadmus there's literally a Cadmus truck that's right in front of Conner and they don't spot him. This is a minor thing, but it's just how badly it was portrayed. It could've easily shown how Conner is able to avoid it, but the way it was shot makes it seem like the Cadmus drivers are blind. Anyways the rest of the episode is also incredibly convenient. I'm basically what seems like a day Conner goes across 4 different types of crimes. It all felt incredibly forced. Except the first robbery where Conner takes the lady's money was really funny, and actually well done. This episode needs to many plot contrivances for it to work at all. Conner literally goes into a random truck he spots that coincidentally takes him to Alex Luthor's old home. Then at the end of the episode he somehow manages to go through the right street, at the perfect time to save Jason from falling after last episode. It's just too unrealistic, and it honestly really damages what was an actual really good episode. Overall this was a good episode, and so far the season's best. I'm just anxious going into the next episodes as they keep messing something up. The 3 most recent episodes have all greatly suffered from silly mistakes like these ones. I'm hoping Titans can finally pull itself together, and live up to all of its potential.

Yet another one
born_naughty4 March 2024
And there's another one. Season one was the start of an inexperienced group of would be heroes. They were young, stupid and very flawed. We we e supposed to see them grow and become the titans.

In season two they suddenly have all the technology, all the superpowers and they keep adding new people. Now we seemingly we have another superman. They've skipped over the most interesting parts. The growth of all of these people.

Everyone is a superhero. Everyone has superstrenght, everyone can fight abnormally well, everyone has superpowers. How is this interesting? When are they going to tell the main story instead of all these sidestories?

The funny thing about this episode is that it's considered the best of the season, and it's the only one that all of the cast members didn't showed until very end, lol.
