I can't believe I missed this series when it first came out. Not much written about it in the English speaking world. Maybe because it is a Swedish series, however, almost all of it is in spoken English with the exception of some of the forwards by Chef Nikalas.
The series is quite brilliant in that it combines the culinary expertise of quite diverse Chefs. Each episode introduces two Master Chefs to each other, one being the Home Chef in whose backyard the episode is filmed and a Guest Chef, who is quite the 'fish out of water' in the unfamiliar setting and local produce and spices, but their shared passion of culinary excellence succeeds in inspiring each other to collaborate and create some truly unique dishes.
Please be advised this is not a 'how to' cooking program, rather it is a celebration of our common humanity and diverse culinary philosophies and will inspire you to experiment, if cooking and/or eating is your passion.
Warmly recommended.
